Quickly a favourite

5

This has quickly become a favourite - next 2 skin shirt. Very light material is breathable and moves with your body. Easy to layer over the top if you wish. Hangs nicely, great fit and easy to pack. Will be buying more.

Favourite next 2 skin

This has quickly become a favorite next 2 skin top - great alone and fabulous as that bottom layer. So darn lightweight - there is no bulk.

I want to live in this shirt

5

This shirt is very lightweight and breathable. I've worn it traveling, hiking, and casually. Living in Southern California, I was weary of trying out a long-sleeved shirt - but this shirt regulates my body temperature well. I never overheat, the UPF protection has kept me from burning, the fit is true to size and flattering. Highly recommended.

Simply the best

5

I use this shirt for everything form alpine climbing, hiking, backcountry skiing, and running. Surprising durable. Simply the best. My most used layer. I wear this in the desert, in the alpine and everywhere in between.

Great layering piece

5

I used this recently on a fall hike in WA when I was too hot for a warm base layer but wanted a layer between my sweaty arms and my sticky rain shell. It kept my dry and prevented my shell from sticking to me without making me get too hot. I can't wait to use it this summer to prevent the terrible shoulder burns that I always get!

Great breathable sun protection!

4

I just used this hoody on a recent ascent of the Grand Teton. I've also used it for sun protection while fly fishing. It's lightweight, breathes very well, and is incredibly thin. Even during long exposure at high altitudes, it kept me from burning. I would suggest that you consider buying a size up. I am a thin 5'8" and always fit in medium shirts and the torso fit me well, but the sleeves were a little short for me when my hands were through the thumb slits. Also, maybe it's because the sleeves were short on me, but I would have preferred that the sleeves cover a bit more of the back of my hands when I use the thumb slits. My climbing partner had the older version of this hoody and the noticeable differences were that this new one has those thumb slits (vs pockets that you flip up to cover your hands completely, and this version has no ponytail hole, which I would have preferred. Bottom line: I would recommend this hoody. It was very comfortable, it kept me from burning, and, added bonus, I really enjoy the color.
