- Saving my sanity in the Barrenlands of the NWT (Review by subarctic5150)
I have used many different styles of head bug nets in past but the OR Headnet nails all the right features.
The large spring ring keeps the net away from your face and head so the mosquitos cannot land and bite through.
The neck camlock closure allows for secure seal against the hoards of blackflies currently living in the area!
This piece of kit is keeping me sane in an area full of blackflies, horseflies and mosquitos that are lusting for human blood and flesh.

- Essential gear (Review by Batman)
After trying several products, this bug Headnet was chosen because of the speed of deployment. I conduct surveys of bat habitat - mostly abandoned mines - in the USA Southwest and often encounter Africanized bee colonies nesting in the mines or cliff faces. Fast protection is necessary to avoid potentially deadly bee stings. The small folded size plus quick-pop spring ring have been perfect to foil bee attacks while we retreat to safer distances. This works perfectly.

- Deluxe Spring Ring Headnet (Review by By Rattlesnakelorax)
The black flies in the northwestern Illinois woods and fields are increasing in numbers making it totally miserable to spend any time there without protection. Every form of repellant needs to be applied frequently and still the flies seek out the eyes and inside the nose. Your ring headnet is the only tool that really works to keep them off. It allows for a far more relaxed experience when hours are spent outdoors in these environments.

- Deluxe Spring Ring Headnet (Review by By Ashok)
I used an older version that I modified (see images below). The seam needed taping. The 'spring-ring' had a sharp edge that I wrapped with a Wash Proof Band Aid (TM). I made a carry case for mine. New versions come with a case.I use a cap under this to i) To keep the mesh away from my face & ii) To prevent mossies reaching the top of my (bald) head.I've only used this whilst sleeping as a 'porta-net' in malaria-prone areas.
