Levitator Pack™

Style# 242732OR

With a streamlined yet durable design and enough room for a full rack, climbing shoes and a helmet, the Levitator Pack is the perfect companion for peak bagging. Haul points create a secure attachment for heaving up gear and double as ice axe loops, and a clever strap system allows the pack to close even when overstuffed with vital gear.

Good (Review by Brandon)

Nice bag for day trips. It's says you can put a water bladder in it but the sewing doesn't allow the tube to run through the interior of the bag. All in all its a good bag to carry stuff on a day hike.

Very portable (Review by ilovermont)

I love this pack and got it because a friend had one in the Sierra when I visited her. My only complaint is that the side pockets need to be stretchy and not mesh. I can barely fit a sunscreen stick and my inhaler in one side pocket at the same time. Otherwise, I love this pack! I even took it as my "purse" on a plane.

Functional and packable (Review by Chewinbrownies)

I've used this pack on day treks in Alaska, New Hampshire, and every other day hike I've taken in the New York area and every inspection I go through afterwards just astounds me.

The functionality and durability are top notch and all the stitching is still in great shape. No rips, no separations.

Remove the backing, fold it, and roll it and it packs down very small. Perfect for when I go on longer trips and I want a day pack with me to bag a peak or two.

I plan on using nothing but this pack to do all the 4,000 footers in the Whites (5 down so far, another 10-12 planned this year).

Great job!!!!

Awesome bag (Review by markinlouisville )

Love. Love. Love this bag. I have had this bag for around 6 months now. It is a fantastic run around town bag and an even better day hike bag. It is comfortable and lightweight and well made.

grab 'n' go (Review by Jim720)

This has found a permanent place in my van, pre-loaded with basics for a day, all I add in my camera and I have what I need for a 2 to 6 hours of exploring something that looked new and interesting.

Clever and useful design (Review by Northern Colorado Climber)

Weight is no one's friend, but when something gets TOO lightweight it loses functionality. Not the Levitator--- I've used it on three short hikes (two with rock gear inside) and it really does the job.

Hats off to OR for keeping the standards on "lightweight" gear heavy-duty!

Practical crag pack (Review by adkeditor)

Since I got the Levitator pack in the winter, I first used it on cross-country ski trips and ice climbs. So far this spring, I have worn it on three multi-pitch rock climbs. It's comfortable and fits snugly. I like the simplicity of the design. Everything fits in one compartment, although there are zippered pockets under the lid, with a key fob, and on the waist belts. The top is expandable. You can use it with or without a water bladder. Other features include an adjustable cinch strap with buckle and ice-ax loops. A minor complaint: I wish the waist-belt pockets were easier to access when you're wearing the pack.
