- Favorite Lightweight Base Layer (Review by Sequence L/S)
This is my favorite lightweight long sleeve base layer. It has an athletic fit that works well as a first or second layer, and can also be worn around town. Wicks away moisture well and is fast drying. I've had mine for a couple years now, still going strong. I should probably buy 2 more.

- Needs more merino (Review by gohoos)
To give the shirt credit, it's cut perfectly and performs almost perfectly. I really like how it can be worn casually (most base layers can't be). My big gripe is that it is not anti-odor, probably because it's only 12% merino. To me it performs just like a 12% merino shirt would perform - OK, but not great, and more like a synthetic layer. It doesn't quite have the temperature range as a true merino layer, and it certainly doesn't have the anti-odor properties (smells quite a bit after two days of wear). Outdoor Research, can you please put more merino in the Sequence line, else not portray them as truly merino base layers?

- Great baselayer (Review by Jimmy Jet)
I bought a couple a year ago. Love this base layer for year round use. Cool weather hikes, base for winter snowshoeing, and also a great biking layer. Nice enough to wear around town as well.
5'9" 190 lb, good fit.

- Pretty good (Review by Kittens)
Actually 4 ½ stars.
Only con is that the the "FreshGaurd" doesn't really hold up, takes less than 3 hours to start really stinking. But it is still better than no anti-stink at all. ( only takes me 1 hour to stink straight 100% synthetic without anti-stink; 8 hours for polygiene and 12+ for wool).
Snug fit through out, except the waist with an acceptable amount of extra room. but not restrictive at all. (6' 155Lbs)
I also like the current color choices (summer 2016)

- Nice but a base layer not a mid (Review by KevInPDX)
5'11", 195lbs. 32" waste the large fits perfect, but... really thin. Trim fit for sure. A base layer or to wear over a snug T-shirt when running, hiking doing something vigorous; Prolly going to return mine as I have enough base layers from a variety of manufacturers.
BTW - To OR, I hate thump holes. Hate them. Stop. AND I am not in the minority on this. All the best mid layers have been ruined by adding thumb holes. If you're cold put on some flippin' gloves or tough it out. Sleeves that are the proper length please. No gimmicky thumb holes!

- warmer (Review by Abe)
This shirt has evolved from the 5 I bought several years ago. It's warmer, thicker, slower drying and a tighter fit. At 6', 142 a small is almost tight now as the earlier version was 2" larger across the chest. Sleeves are long enough for my arms.

- Great shirt (Review by Steven)
Bought this in the crew version (don't see it listed anymore) and have been very happy. True to size, soft, warm and breathes very well. Versatile as a base layer in cold all the way to variably warm days. Looks good enough to wear around town and cleans up easily. M fits me for 6'0 and 175. Snug, but not loose or binding. Has shown some slight pilling after frequent washing, but not very noticeable. Would buy again and recommend.

- BEST SHIRT EVER (Review by Louie)
I am 5' 11.5", 190lbs and in good shape. The large fits perfect. The material used is a wool poly mixture, and it is spot on for athletic endeavors, everyday comfort, and even general appearance. I've worked in the outdoor industry (not for OR) for years, and this is by far the best material for athletic wear I've come across. Unlike icebreaker and other high-end marino brands, this shirt actually has structural integrity (its not going to break down), its not shiny, and its not itchy at all - but its still very lightweight. I bought one for all members of my family and two for me. Did i mention that you can wear this thing casually and it looks excellent too?? Just buy it you'll be happy you did.

- Quick drying / Nice colors (Review by blakeskii)
Theres no doubt that this wool polyester blend drys quick. Im usually a 100 percent merino wool guy, but choose this whenever I plan to get a little wetter than usual. Maybe not all wool, but still soft to the skin witch I enjoy. Im 6'2" 175lb and the large fits okay, I may suggest an XL if you have longer arms or broad shoulders... my only complaints with this layer is the lack of stretch in the fabric, and it feels a little tight in the shoulders / arms for me.

- fabulous base layer. (Review by Stephen)
This is the first OR base layer I have owned. I have now worn it 4 or 5 out of 7 days, and am ordering another, recycle. It has performed great as a shirt to run in when you are thinking T shirt in the sun and warm jacket in the shade of the forest. Soft, fits well, a medium at 6ft 160, was a little woried as I feel i am between m and l but perfect as a base layer at M I think I could be happy with a large as well.

- Good baselayer (Review by efil4ynot)
I bought a large, which is what I usually wear, and it fits great. Only thing I would change would be to have the fabric a little stretchier and some thumb holes.

- I need a drawer full of these (Review by Kamel207)
this is by far one of the most comfortable base layers I have ever used.....soft and a great fit...performs as advertised with excellent wicking and drying capabilities...this is fast replacing my other base layers from another company....oh and the odor control is top notch too....minimal stank....kudos OR
