A+ Hoody (Review by JC)

The Starefire hoody is fantastic! it is my go to for just about any occasion and keeps me warm before and after my dawn patrol surf sessions. The only drawback is that my wife keeps stealing it.

Great Jacket! (Review by Matthew)
Quality

This is one of my favorite OR purchases yet! Large fits me perfect at 5'9" 185 lbs. Trim fit and not baggy which is the way I like my jackets. Seems to be about the perfect weight for cooler nights and days. Would also work as a great layer when on the slopes.

Excellent layer or solo piece (Review by M)
Quality

5'7 and 160lbs and the Medium fits snugly as expected. Sleeves are slightly longer than I would like, but it could be to accommodate the use of the thumb holes. Very warm and a little light rain and wind resistant. I wear it all the time, and on really cold days I'll pair it with a lightly insulated jacket. One thing that I don't like is that the bottom is a little long and rolls a bit.

In spite of the minor issues, it's a great full zip hoodie.

Great Product (Review by Cam)
Quality

I like the smooth finish on the exterior and the micro fleece inside. Just warm enough for a cool morning/evening in Bend, OR. I'm 6'4", 190# and a Large is my size. Sleeves are long enough without being too bulky in the body.

Great layer hoody (Review by Mike)
Quality

I love my Starfire Hoody. I live in Washington where it always rains, and usually I prefer to wear a shell when going around town. Not anymore, the Starfire is comfortable, warm, and I think it looks good too. I haven't been stuck in a downpour yet, but for every day mist the Starfire does fine. It's been great under my ski jacket on chilly mountain mornings but gets a little hot as the day warms up. The anti-stink magic really helped after I got in the car to drive home. I'm 6'6" 205 lbs and the torso fits great. As always the arms could be longer, but they are long enough to not look funny on me.

Very warm, runs small (Review by MM)
Quality

Nice soft interior texture, with a hard wearing exterior face. I really like this garment. Very warm, and a great layer under a wind resistant jacket. I wear medium in Arc'teryx and OR, and unfortunately this hoody runs a little small, so the fit is only ok.

Great mid-layer, underrated. (Review by Sev)
Quality

Great mid-layer or dedicated single layer that you can wear around the house, around town, or on your way up the mountain. I wore this for a recent backcountry trip in the Bitterroots and I was surprised by the warm, wicking and a bit of breathability. The chest pocket is a plus for your phone, and the hood, albeit a bit tight, comes in handy when things cool off a bit.

Awesome Hoody! (Review by SLV )
Quality

This is lighter weight than I expected but it's surprisingly warm and comfortable. Great layering piece, hood is very tight fitting and acts like a balaclava to seal in warmth. Another high quality piece of gear, thanks OR!

Almost perfect (Review by MM)
Quality

Good amount of stretch and quite warm as an outside layer. The only problem with it is that the sleeves are a bit long. The cuff length is such that it is designed to be worn using the thumb hole comfortable. Unfortunately when I wear it with the cuffs around my wrists like normal streetwear, it bunches up. Still a great piece.

Goldilocks hoody (Review by Mark )
Quality

As others have mentioned this is a great hoody. It's lightweight and the thickness is just right. It works as an exercise piece or everyday lounging about town piece. It is cut trim as advertised so I sized up and it's perfect. I looked at this one for a while before finally pushing the buy button and I now I wished I'd done it sooner.

Excellent. (Review by Robert)
Quality

Lightweight garment that can be worn as an outer layer or an inner layer. Flexibility makes it worth the money.

Quality seams and zippers. Sleeves were a bit long for me, but I may have short arms as another OR jacket I've purchased was a bit long in the arms.

All around great hoody. (Review by Chris)

This was my first OR purchase. A great first impression. The quality is top-notch. Great style. Can't recommend this hoody enough.
