Bigger pockets needed (Review by Matty)

I really like these pants and want to love them. I can't because the hand pockets are incredibly shallow. I wouldn't trust even putting chapstick in them without them popping out. Other than that not bad pants.

Excellent (Review by Alex)

Have put these pants through the ringer wether it is climbing, fly fishing wading, canoe tripping, or long bushwhacking hikes these pants hold up! There is no limitation on movement, they are extremely breathable, and water resistant. They are not water proof but when i fully submersed them when wading in a stream it took a couple of seconds before they started absorbing the water. They are also quick dry so when they do get wet they dry dry extremely quickly, all in all very impressed with this product.

Simply the best pants (Review by Ryan)

I love these. They are versatile enough to be used for almost anything. I've used them hiking, climbing, skiing, shoveling snow, canoeing in chilly and warm temperatures, the list goes on and on. I actually thought about putting them on to mow the grass today. If I could afford it I'd have a pair for everyday of the week. Great pockets, good belt loops, amazing stretch and fantastic wind and water resistance.
I just wore them last week on a fishing trip, it was around 40°F and the wind was blowing at a constant 25-30 mph. I was completely comfortable in just the Voodoo pants, nothing underneath.

Excellent fit and function (Review by zag)

I can't say enough about these pants. The fit is perfect. I find most of OR pants to be to baggy, but these are perfect... not skinny, but not baggy around the legs and ankles. Great Job. Want a great idea? these in a zip off pant... wow!

Well-built, but ill-fitting (Review by aredman)

These pants would get a much higher rating if it weren't for the sizing. I must say that that are up to the typical OR standard of solidly constructed goods and it it nice to see an outdoor apparel company offering hiking pants in slim sizing that don't look like out-of-style hiking pants. However, the waist and inseam of these pants is not true-to-size at all. The 30 waist of my pants are way too big (more like a 32-33) and they missed the mark on the inseam too: this time too short. It's too bad as otherwise, I would buy another pair in a heartbeat.

Fit great and a little warmer than the Ferrosi pants. (Review by Adam)

Love these pants. I'd say these are a bit more round the year type pants for crazy weather and even just a regular day out hiking. They wick water very well, keep me dry in the rain here in Southeast Alaska. Pretty tough fabric that can handle just about anything. I really like these pants, they come in second compared to my Forrosi pants that I wear a lot when I'm not at work and out of uniform.

Delivers on every feature and then some. (Review by Old Guide)

I ordered on line and the 34 fit my 6' 1" 170 pound frame perfectly. There are countless hidden bonus features in these pants. eg. how the side and rear pockets are held in place to ensure a meticulous professional look. Wind resistance exceeds expectations for such a lightweight pant that moves with you. Works extremely well with the body's natural thermoregulation. I have felt no static electricity even with wool tights underneath in winter which is a relief from some other brands attempts at pants. If you like to remain in harmony with your surroundings and you don't like to stop and swap layers at every change in weather then get these. Thanks OR for the three wide trapezoidal belt loops at the back in close proximity precisely where needed in the real world when active outside. These are very intelligent pants. The "O" shaped reinforcements is an advance to replace bar tacking at stress points on front pockets that adds to the sublime appeal these pants have right down to every stitch of thread. Features list forgot to mention the "inspired design" that leaves lesser brands lagging even farther behind.

stylish and comfortable (Review by Clem)

These have become my favourite pants after only owning them for a few days. Great for travelling, hiking and casual wear. They are lightweight and shed light wind and light rain quite nicely.
The only drawback is that they are cut a wee bit too slim to be ideal with long underwear … at least for me.

Worth the money. (Review by 2PiRadians)

I never bought expensive gear for hiking and camping, figuring it couldn't possibly make that much of a difference what I was wearing and why spend the money? I'm getting older, though, and hiking in the rain in Carhartt pants that stay wet for hours isn't exactly fun anymore. Enter the Voodoo pants. I was skeptical that they would hold up because they are so thin, but they seem incredibly durable. They shed water almost like they're waterproof, and they dry so fast it's like they don't get wet at all. Like someone else said, the waist size seems a little big - you might want to order one size down from your usual size. I like them big, though, so I just tighten my belt. I can't think of anything I'd change about these pants, and now I want everything OR makes because it's so much nicer to hike in their stuff. If you're on the fence about buying spendy hiking gear, get these. They'll change your mind.

Light and Tough (Review by Ryan)

At first glance I didn't think they would last all of the abuse climbing and hiking would put on them, but I have been pleasantly surprised. Super light and stretchy making it easy to move around in and wear all weekend. The only negatives are that the pockets aren't deep enough and I have to wear a belt with them. Maybe drop a size from what you normally wear (I usually wear a 32, but I think a 30 would fit better). Overall good pair of pants.

Great pants (Review by Spindrift)

I've been climbing in these pants for a few months and they some of the best I've owned. The fit is excellent; articulated knees. low cut waist for a harness, and minimalist design. I wore them up the Grand and thought they were perfect.
The eyelet cords aren't functional so I added a set of rivet eye's in the cuff seam. There front zipper is only a single and really could use a double. Beyond that, great pants.

My new pants for EVERYTHING (Review by Brendan)

Synthetic, wicking, and they don't look dorky—perfect for climbing and hiking in the spring summer and fall. Huge fan of the zipper pocket as well.

Men's Voodoo Pants™ (Review by By JDoubleDuBB)

These pants have quickly become my go-to pant for climbing whether it's a cragging adventure on a cool day or a gnarly big wall excursion. I have the Ferrosi pants as well but these are a bit more stout and durable. They still breathe well and dry quickly while keeping the wind and light rain out. I wear theses on all but the hottest summer days in Red Rock and they've held up well. These will definitely be my choice for my next trip to The Nose. The cut on these pants is perfect for climbing and then stopping off for a beer on the way home. Well done OR.

Men's Voodoo Pants™ (Review by By brygil)

I wore this pant on a multi-day alpine climb in the Alps and was super impressed as to how well they handled all that was thrown at them. Great stretch when on the rock and they shed snow and moisture well. Then when they did get a bit wet they dried out very fast. Great pant for when you don't want to bring much - they can be worn travelling. Zippered pockets add a nice bit of security when in airports etc.

Men's Voodoo Pants™ (Review by By GZclimber)

Great for warm alpine routes or long cragging routes. For being so thin these pants hold up great. They move well when climbing and keep me just warm enough. I have been really enjoying them.

Men's Voodoo Pants™ (Review by By Nik)

Used in the Wind River Range on Mt. Hooker that is at 12,500 feet. This pant kept me dry and warm while letting me move freely on very difficult climbing. The pant wore very well and you can only bring one pair and be confident they will last for a whole trip with extreme abuse. The only drawback is the lack of a cinch in the cuff. Overall it is a great pant and I would take them again on that trip.
