Solid performance in a specialty boot (Review by Colorado Outdoors Guy)

I bought these gloves to have a medium weight performance glove with the extra warmth of battery power. I've now had them out three separate times and can report they are solid performers.

Ice climbing in the Longs Peak area about three weeks ago they held up to a WI2 pitch, the leather palm is ideal for handling ice tools and screws.

Last week I was backcountry skiing in moderate temperatures and had them on the lowest setting for about four hours. They did a good job of holding up for the whole time and still had a lot of juice at the end of the day.

And today, 17 December 2016, I finally put them to a test they couldn't pass. It was about -10°F (with wind chill) at 11,000 feet and only while we were moving briskly could they keep up at the highest setting. But was -10°F!

These gloves are going with me every trip for the rest of the winter. Nice job OR.

Good not great (Review by Steve)

Well-made, well-fitting, and easy-to-use gloves. On the "high" setting, these will definitely keep your hands warmer than non-heated gloves at temps of about 20 and above. But for lower temps, or in windy conditions, I find the heat output insufficient. In these conditions, I need to use a pair of over-mitts, which will slow heat loss and improve performance (though, of course, the mitts reduce the dexterity that you otherwise get with gloves). There's a limited amount of heat that any batteries can supply, no matter how well-made. Bottom line: I like these gloves and am glad I got them, but they're not the super-toasty all-condition gloves I was hoping for.

THANK YOU!!! (Review by Christian)

At last a dream glove for hands have been freezing forever..I haven't used them in the cold but I still have to write a review. First off OR Gloves are an amazing fit the Stormtracker follows suite. I went through the process of setting these the manual and voila they worked. So easy to use!! The switch is big so you don't have to take off your gloves to go through the three they are color coded so you know what setting they are on. In my first test they heated up fast. The battery pack is easy to install and remove. It sits up on the inside upper cuff so you don't really notice it and it won't be an impact spot to hurt your hand. Think about it..if it was on your wrist...ouch!! Oh and they come with a sweet carrying case for the charger, international outlets and gloves. Your guaranteed not to misplace items with this case! I waited for these gloves forever and finally I have them. Once I test them I will give a functional review...bring on subzero temps!!!
