- Great for biking (Review by Amber)
I love these pants! I use them for winter biking, the trim fit and side pocket make them perfect for this. I'm also on my third winter using them and they're still going strong.

- A solution for the vertically challanged (Review by MountainGoat)
These pants are amazing and many people I know wear them for all of their mountaineering and spring skiing adventures. While it is an issue to be shorter than 5'6", I have a solution! I have had 3 pairs already, and I take them to a place in a mall where they hem pants. I asked them to just make a fold in the fabric below the knee and stitch it. They matched the thread to the pants' existing thread, and unless you look really close, you would never know they have been altered, and they fit perfectly now. Best part, it only cost $15 per pair, totally worth it!!!

- Way too big and long (Review by Liz )
I wanted these pants too work, but they are way, way too long. I'm 5'4" and 115 lb. I've seen reviews on other sites that say the same thing. Why not make a short, regular, and tall option? Not all women are one-size-fits-all 5'7". In fact, most of us are not. I love the durable fabric on these, the large pockets, and especially the cinch waistband to get a secure fit around my waist. But the reinforced knee part of the pants are BELOW my knee because that's how long these pants are. Unfortunately I'll have to return these and keep searching for softshell pants that fit--unless OR starts offering various length options (PLEASE?!).

- Superb lightweight ski/ snowshoe/winter pants/ sz Small (Review by outdoormama)
I purchased this pant in Dec 2014 and have used them for 1.5 seasons so far. These are the nicest, lightweight, comfortable, well-fitting ski pants I have every owned. I used them for nordic skiing, snowshoeing, winter walks in cold weather, and backcountry skiing when the weather is warm. I am 5'5", 128 lbs and the size Small fits perfectly with some length to spare. The cinch cords on the bottom and hook to connect to boots are great. Waist is really comfortable with velcro tabs on side for adjustment. My husband also owns this pants and loves them as well.

- Another great product! If only I could choose my inseam... (Review by sunshine)
I usually have a hard time finding pants that fit (as we all do I'm sure). I am 5'4" tall and 145 lbs. I have relatively bigger thighs and bottom, so often pants are tight in those places but too large around my waist. However OR pants generally fit me great. The size 6 in the voodoo pants is perfect, and I fall right between a Small and Medium in the Cirques. However, with the adjustable waist belt snugged up a bit the Mediums are perfect. Except... they are definitely way too long. I usually a 30" inseam, so I didn't think the 30.5" inseam on these (according to their size chart) would be too bad. However, because of the stiff scuff guard at the bottom, they bunch up quite a lot around my lower shin. Enough so that I am concerned about walking with crampons on. I am hoping it will help as they soften up a bit over time, but right now (new) they look and feel weird around my lower leg. I even tried them on with ski boots and mountaineering boots and the added height didn't help much.
I bought these pants to have something warmer than the voodoo weight softshells, so I was a bit disappointed that they feel pretty thin. However, my boyfriend has had these pants for a few months and wore them a lot ski touring and ski mountaineering, and said he was surprised at how warm they are. Probably because they block the wind pretty well.
Overall, I think they are great pants and am excited to have them. I love that all the pockets zip, the adjustable waist, the horizontal thigh pocket (the men's version zips vertically which causes some problems when putting in/taking out items), the bomber scuff guard, and overall comfort and attention to stitching details to allow freedom of movement.

- Finally! (Review by Tan)
I've had these pants for over two and a half years now, they're in great shape and I still love them. I looked everywhere and tried on a dozen soft-shell pants to find a pair that had a nice fit and thoughtful functions. I'm a petite active woman with a small waist so it was nearly impossible to find my fit/size. The velcro waistband makes the fit perfect. The pants are quite flattering and very comfortable - I was dry/warm/cool as needed. So far, I've used them for skiing, fall/winter hikes in the Pacific Northwest and multiday treks in the Andes. Easy to add a layer underneath. The zippered bottom is great so I can fit it over my ski boots and I like the little bootlace hooks for my hiking boots. I really like the side thigh pocket! It is so accessible and I keep my maps or anything else I need to access often or quickly. Try these pants, I think you'll really enjoy them.

- Women's Cirque Pants™ (Review by By Kate)
Just wore these pants for 19 days in a row in Denali and I love them. I have a 32 inch inseam, and usually buy men's medium pants. This is the first pair of women's soft shell pants I have come across that fit my size 6-8 waist and provide the proper length. There is Velcro on both sides of the waist which allow for different shaped waists; I was able to adjust mine perfectly. The pants were cool when I was working hard, and warm/wind resistant when I needed protection. They were easy to layer under and over. The inner ankle reinforced fabric is potentially too short - could go a little higher up the leg; I have two crampon slits about 1-2 inches above where it ends on each inner pant leg. Other than that, loved the pants. There is also a really great right leg pocket about halfway down on the back/side of the leg - great for maps, pocket knives, fork, chap-stick, etc., and even when contents are bulky, it does not annoy you or rub your leg when working hard. I highly recommend these pants.

- Women's Cirque Pants™ (Review by By ellie)
Thanks so much OR for finally putting out a great summer/spring ski pants! As much as I love low waisted jeans etc. it is nice to have a bit of a higher waist so when I bend over I don't freeze my back. The weight is so perfect for spring, and yet I still have room for a lightweight long undies if needed. Shed water really well. Love all the pockets, and yet they aren't too obtrusive. The pants fit perfectly over my beefy AT boots. I was skeptical of the lighter barley color, but I can tell they keep me cooler and I feel kinda hip in that color. Great cuff guards around the ankles. I do have longish legs (31-32) and these are plenty long. They are a little tight around my middle, but I've eaten too many muffins this winter. These pants are super! I've owned about five other pairs of lightweight ski pants from the full spectrum of outdoor companies and these are the best.
