- Great Softshell (Review by Missy)
I think this jacket is great and very comfortable. It is perfect for days that are a little chilly and you just need an extra small layer. It is definitely water resistant, but I wouldn't choose this jacket if it was down pouring.

- Great lightweight softshell (Review by Alex)
This is a great lightweight softshell. Really comfortable, not scratchy if worn with just a t-shirt or tank underneath. I usually wear it as a layer when I'm trail running in cold or wet weather, on the uphill when backcountry skiing, or as a layer hiking. I usually wear a S in OR trim fit styles, and an XS in standard fit styles. I have the XS and it fits perfect.

- Wish it came in one color (Review by Ferrosi)
The ferrosi jacket in black is my all time favorite running, crosscountry skiing, trail running jacket. I use it from end of august to late may with the weather we have in Greenland.
I want to buy a new ferrosi jacket - but will probably choose another brand - because of the two color models. The skis have one color, the trail shoes have one color, the running shoes have one color and if the jacket have to many colors, you look like a circus :-)
I wish the jacket came in one color.

- Exactly as advertised. (Review by Mel)
I bought this jacket for ski touring. I wanted something light weight, breathable, wind resistant, with a hood, and a pocket for my phone, which I use as a GPS and camera. I finally picked this jacket, and I'm very happy that I did. The Ferrosi Hoodie has great stretch, so I can layer it over an insulation piece if necessary, and it does an amazing job at breaking the wind. I wore it touring on some warm spring days, and I was very impressed with the breathability. I'm looking forward to taking it climbing this summer.
On a fashion note, the jacket looks much nicer in real life than on the website. I bought the elderberry/wisteria colour, and it's great.
I'm 5'8", 140lbs, and the medium fit really well.
Thanks for making the jacket I have been looking for!

- Great lightweight piece (Review by Cait)
This is an awesome light weight jacket. The material is thinner than I expected, but durable and hold up well. I've used it as a mid-layer and and outer layer while hiking and trail running in temperatures ranging from 10F - 55F, clear conditions and windy/light precipitation. Great fitting hood, though I have not yet tried to use it with a helmet. Both hood and bottom of jacket have a draw cord, which pulls tight enough so I can store my bear spray inside the hem - which is a pretty neat bonus if you ask me. I love that it has a chest pocket - though I wish the opening was just a little bit bigger, I have to fiddle with my phone to get it in and out which can be a little annoying. All in all - VERY happy with my purchase!
I am 5'7, athletic build, about 145 pounds and the M is a great fit

- Really tried to like it (Review by Buckie)
I wish I liked this jacket, but I just can't find a good use for it. It does not protect you from the wind at all, is not warm either. Not practical as a softshell jacket unless you're wearing a long sleeve tee under.
Sadly it just sits in my closet now.

- Perfect. For almost everything you can think of. (Review by Ra)
I got the Ferrosi jacket because my husband kept telling me how much he loved his - and he was so right. This is super lightweight yet provides just enough protection from wind and water that I take it everywhere - hiking, backcountry skiing, cycling, running, paddling - everywhere. It really does everything OR claims - it's got a great athletic cut yet stretches easily, is nearly windproof and sheds water, and when it does get wet, it dries quickly. One huge advantage over other similar jackets is that this thing is also TOUGH - I'm constantly bushwhacking for work and play, and sharp brush hasn't left a single mark on this jacket.
I'm 5'7", 135#, and medium was perfect as always with OR. I'd recommend this for just about any aerobic activities down to about 50 degrees F, or lower if you're really moving.

This jacket is very functional. It is lightweight and breathable, and great protection from sun and wind.

- W's Ferrosi Hoody (Review by Vicki)
One of the first pieces of my now substantial OR wardrobe. Living in a mild climate like southern California, this hoody remains a lightweight, comfortable, functional, and attractive staple of my wardrobe for active or casual pursuits.
