As described - light and waterproof (Review by shakti)

Wore it in a down pour and it kept me dry. Very useful over a base layer when not too cold. Keeps the wind out. Packs very well.

Lightweight, waterproof, easy to put on (Review by Alison)

I love these waterproof pants. The zip makes them easy to put on over boots when you need to move fast. They are also light enough that I don't mind carrying them even when the rain risk is low. These have saved my life on trips where the wind has been super strong, too, by blocking out the cold. Having been in downpours, these have never leaked. Super comfortable, lightweight, and very effective.

Ideal rain pants! (Review by MountainGoat )

These are great waterproof pants! Very lightweight and stuff down small, and with the side zippers they are easy to get on/off over boots, and not too bad with crampons. The only problem was the first day I wore them, when I was pulling the zippers down, the little stopper at the bottom busted off and the zippers pulled completely off. With a pair of pocketknife pliers, a lot of cussing, and about 40 minutes of fumbling, I was able to force the zipper back onto the teeth and then force it around so the zipper worked properly. I had to put a bunch of duct tape on the bottom so it wouldn't pull off again. Before I had a chance to warranty them, it happened on the other side too. Not something you would want to happen when you are putting them on in bad weather on the side of a mountain. Other than that (and I know to be very careful with my new pair!), they are ideal rain pants for me.

lightweight and waterproof (Review by Anna)

These highly packable pants are great to bring along for protection from any precipitation. I have had them out on multiday trips in a downpour, ice climbing, and hunting (in a downpour). Kept me dry without fail. They are simple; just one back pocket (that they fold up into nicely), no frills. They are durable; I have only sustained one tear from all of the bushwhacking I have done in them (probably from the notorious devil's club up here). I did wear gaiters to protect them from my crampons while ice climbing. I might have shredded them otherwise. The quarter zip is nice, though a full zip would be nicer. It is extremely hard to find women's gore-tex pants with a full zip though. The elastic at the waist is not super comfortable either. I think a better system could be implemented there. However, since I usually throw these on over something, it is usually pretty unnoticeable. Thanks for keeping me dry OR!
