Always have to buy one when I get a new phone

Seems like I always have to buy a new one of these whenever I get a new phone since the new phone is always bigger than the old one. Mine is a Galaxy S8 with an aftermarket slim case. Fit is OK. Not roomy, but not too snug. I have a screen protector which can make insertion a bit tricky as it wants to stick to the clear plastic. That said, the case does what it should, protects my phone during kayaking and allows me to use the mapping function while underway.

upside down

great product but upside down and could use a longer lanyard

Seems very protective; it is a little to get my iPhone SE in and out. Once in though, it seems cozy. Certainly better and more durable than quart ziploc bag.

Up Side Down?

This pouch works well, easy to see and push buttons on the left, the one button on the right is not hard to hit either. The plastic window seems to be a bit better than a cheaper pouch I used prior to this, and the camera window works well. The pouch is bigger than the phone , but it is tight around the edges, so the phone / camera stay away from dark corners. The velcro closure is very easy to operate, is good enough for everyday use. The zipper works well too for added water protection. The phone is a bit hard to remove, and I usually just slide it out just enough to plug in the lightning cable to charge. I can't really use it without taking it off my neck, since titling it up means everything is upside down (and the phone does not invert the display). If I put it in the other way, then the camera is blocked , and the 3 buttons are not visible, and the port to plug in the charger is at the top. (and if I have other things like a compass , hat, or name tag it may be hard to take off my neck, as the lines might be tangled.) And if I am standing on the street car I might not want to hold it, or if I am on the move, like if a light turns green/walk etc. I think this will be more durable than my cheaper case , but haven't had it long enough to be sure. Nice slim pouch, so 4 stars, but really 3.5 since not being able to use it on my neck is a major drawback.
