Our Shiftup Hoody and Tights are not some Rocky-Balboa-running-through-Philadelphia sweatsuit— we built them for mountain training (like in Rocky IV). The Polygiene-treated stretch polyester blend moves with you on trail runs and interval workouts, and resists odor over the long run (so you don’t have one more reason to hate working out). Thumb loops and a balaclava-style hood give you just the edge you need over cold temps.

RATING AND REVIEWS

Lightweight and Warm

5

This is a perfect lightweight Hoody for those fall days climbing or raking leaves. It is the perfect in between for those days were you need more than a T-shirt but less than a jacket.

Great Midlayer

5

Having owned several midlayers of both Patagonia and North Face, this OR piece is my new favorite. Super soft and very stretchy, it wicks sweat great and stays warm. I have trail run in low 40s and upper 30s with a shirt on underneath and the piece did beautifully. Highly recommend!

Nice hoody, a bit too slim fitting with a tiny little pocket

This hoody is pretty fine. It was perfect over my t-shirt on a 60 degree day, but too warm as the temp climbed a little. I am usually feeling a lot of comfy but properly fitting room or a slightly loose fit with a large. I am 5'10, 185lbs, 35" waist/42" chest. This is slightly snug around my torso, fits pretty well in the chest and shoulders. I guess I am too tubby for this to fit the way I like clothing to fit. I was concerned about the fit, but I believe an XL would simply be too large. I was really missing any kind of a pocket in this. There is a dinky little pocket where you could place a few bucks, your keys, a credit card. Doesn't really hold my phone well. Hood up, I have visibility side to side and up, hood was over my ball cap. Overall, nice threads. I have been losing weight, so I will keep it and "grow" into it!

My New Favorite Hoodie

Loving wearing this for daily runs and day hikes. Can't wait to use it as a base-layer skiing.

Great all-around layer

5

I just got this a few weeks ago and haven't been able to use it much, but really like this hoody so far. The fabric is a little more dense than some other fleeces, which makes this great as a stand alone piece for cooler weather or high-exertion, but I am curious how this will perform as a midlayer. I really like the stretch offered by the fabric; it enables the piece to fit close to the body without impeding movement. I like the deep zipper for venting and also love that this has both thumb holes and thumb loops, which helps cover the hands even when really reaching.

I can't I didn't buy this sooner

5

I can't believe I didn't get this hoodie sooner. It's so comfortable. It is going to be my go-to hoodie this fall. It is lightweight and moves with you. It seems to retain body heat well. I think the hood is shaped more for those using a helmet though.

Great for trail running or wherever it's a bit chilly

5

I bought this based on the great reviews and it does not disappoint! I normally run in shorts and a t-shirt even in cold weather. I brought this along on a trail run that was unseasonably cool (40F in August). It was super comfortable to run in as it stretches easily. It was misty and I used the hood, which also fit perfectly as it was small enough not cover my eyes or flop around too much like baggier hoods. When it warmed up it was light enough to stash without feeling like I was carrying around extra weight. Really happy with this purchchase.

Great layer with a lot of stretch for any activity!

I've been very happy with this hoody. I've mainly used this layer while climbing, and it excels for this use. Plenty of stretch, while not being baggy. The forearms are a little tight on me (I must have super large climbing guns ;-), but not enough to cause problems. It's also light enough to throw in my pack for alpine rock days when it might turn chilly. It fits over (or under) a helmet very well, which is a huge plus. The thumb and middle finger loops keep the sleeves down and your hands warm when you need it. Thankfully, the sleeves are actually long enough that you don't get a strain in your arms or shoulders while using this feature. The hoody seems to breathe well, but is thick enough to block out at least a little wind. It's the perfect weight and construction for a light-weight mid-layer or cold-weather base layer. Works great as an outer if it's chilly/windy and you're going to be doing a highly aerobic activity. I did notice it got stinky kind of quickly, without me sweating in it much. Easily solved with a wash and not worth losing a star. So far, I haven't gotten to use this layer enough to comment on durability. Hopefully it lasts as long as all my other OR layers (which is a long time).

This is my second OR hoodie purchase of this year, and I have to say you guys have a customer for life. This hoodie is absolutely perfect for a cool early morning hike or trail run. Its breathable, super flexible, but also light enough to span a number of seasons up here in central New York. I've taken it out on damp, chilly, misty mornings and have stayed warm and dry. Its held up to a quarter mile bushwack without pulling or tearing, as well as a 5 mile trail run along a path that's sometimes not quite a human wide. All in all I love it
