Great pants but tight in the convertible shirt area

Comfy, material seems to be good quality. I wear these traveling, camping, hiking, etc. I bought these a size bigger than I really need after reading reviews about the zippered shorts area being tight and they're still tighter than I would like but acceptable. I bought these while on deep discount, otherwise I would have returned them for that reason.

Still on the fence.

I'm 5'3" and 115-120lbs and ordered a size 2. The fit well and have a little stretch. I like the pants but the zipper for the convertible pants cuts in a little too much. It's not tight on the leg but I definitely notice. I haven't had the change to wear them hiking yet but I'm hoping it's not a problem

My favorite convertible pants

I use these pants while hiking and camping and absolutely love them. The length of the shorts is perfect, and the pants as a whole are lightweight and breathable.

So Happy with these Pants!

I ordered these in size 10 and 12 because my big booty and thighs put me between those sizes on the size chart. The size 10 fit great! They're relatively fitted around my hips and upper thighs, but not at all uncomfortably so. I can move and bend in them with ease. Actually, I'm hoping they don't stretch out during a day of hiking! Also, when I ordered, I was a little nervous about how the back pockets would look because I hate it when back pockets are lumpy or unflattering. Turns out they lay flat and flatter my shape nicely. All around, these pants just scream good quality- better than other outdoor brands I've tried. I bought them in mushroom and charcoal, and I'd recommend them to anyone. For reference, I'm 5'7" and 145 pounds, and I usually wear size 8 jeans.

Too big

Lightweight, packable, but poor fit. Also needs to be offered in smaller sizes, keep in mind that many OR clientele are petite climbers.

Breathe like a charm

Love these pants for hot days. They're lightweight and breathable. My only problem is the mid-thigh zipper. It's just a little too tight (but I got some muscular thighs, so could be me).

Really like these pants

So I bought these pants last year and loved them so much I bought another pair at the beginning of this year's field season, just in case the first pair began to wear out. My only complaint is that I bought the exact same size only they feel a bit smaller than the original pair I own. Not sure why that would be but the butt and thighs are a wee bit tighter. Fortunately they are stretchy enough that I still wear them, but they aren't as comfortable as my first pair.

Sizing is quite off

The pants f are very large through the leg and quite long.

Didn't fit well

I was a bit disappointed that the pants didn't fit well. The size fit a bit small, mostly in the waist.

Love these pants

I bought these to replace a pair with too many holes. It was a great decision. As a short person who shops in the petite section, they are a bit long (but okay with boots on) and sometimes I miss the drawstring on my old pair that would hold up the edges, but I am an even bigger fan of the ankle zips that allow me to get the lower legs off over my boots in hot weather. Great pants, they dry quickly, material is a step up from my old pants. Only real complaint is that the zip pocket on the side is too small for my phone (Nexus 5X). I purchased a size 6 (5'4" 130lbs) and it fits very well. A little looser around the waist/hips but I have a bit of a "pear shape" so that's pretty typical for clothes on me.

Does the Equinox pant come in Short?

Hi Annette, The Women's Equinox Pants do not come in short. Currently there are no short inseam pants available in our Women's Collection. Thanks for contacting OR, Paul

Do you have any women's convert hiking pants in long? I"m 5'10" and weigh 115lbs. so I wear a 4Tall. I'd like a 32" inseam in a size 4. Thanks

I'd go with our Women's Ferrosi Pants (Long):

How long are the shorts part of women's equinox pants size 2?

The inseam for the shorts in size 2 is 8.75".
