Light + warm

I keep this tucked in the bottom of my pack, just incase anyone in my group gets cold. Instant warmth with The 800 fill. It is so light and compact that I dont even notice its there.

Love It!

This jacket is a perfect fit for someone who doesn't like tight fitting clothing. Its casual and comfy, in my book that would be called great.

Almost perfect

It was time to replace my every-day (in the winter) down jacket and I initially wanted another brand, but it didn't fit. I'm so glad it didnt because this jacket is great. I am 5'10 and the length is perfect which doesnt always happen. My tiny gripes are that the black jacket is lined in gray (kinda ugly), there is no sewn-in hanging loop which OR even has on their gloves, so why not an expensive, fragile down jacket? But overall I'm happy, and might just make the switch to OR down jackets!

Great Layering Piece

Great layering piece. Over a flanne, under a denim, or rain jacket. Solid piece!

I love this jacket

It took me a long time to find a down jacket that fit well and could be versatile. This is the jacket!! The pockets are large and I especially like the extra pocket at chest level. Even with a small stature, (5.1') I have found other comparable jackets to be too short and/or too bulky. This jacket covers my bum and renders a very attractive tailored fit (there is plenty of room for layering). It was worth the long wait - I would recommend this jacket to a friend!!

Misleading and/or incorrect sizing

Bought this jacket for my daughter. Just arrived in the mail today (like less than an hour ago), so it hasn't been worn yet in cold weather for me to rate the pros and cons of quality wear. However, the disappointing thing I noticed almost immediately was the size discrepancy. My daughter tried it on and my thoughts were confirmed. She is 5'9" and 120 lbs. (tall/thin). She then took it off and I looked at the size tag and noticed a "s/p" What!?!?!? I would have never ordered a petite for her! I had carefully reviewed the website's sizing guide prior to selecting the size "s" By the size guide, she would wear an "xs," but since I wanted her to be able to wear a sweatshirt underneath, I selected a small. I went back on the website and looked at the item again and when you order, there is no where you can select a petite or regular. I pulled a tape measure out. The most accurate measure I could take was sleeve length. I placed ruler at top of shoulder (up against collar even) and laid sleeve on it. It measured 30" if you pull material tight, you can get it up to 31" But that still isn't the 32" that the sizing guide says a small is. Also there were slight imperfections in the coat on the back just below the collar area. Looks like something rubbed the area/overstretching the material or it was exposed to slight heat source. I'm uncertain at this time if we will keep it or return it. She can wear it, just will not be able to wear more than a thin T-shirt underneath. I like that it's lightweight and thin and that fact that it's compact and she would easily be able to shove it in her backpack when she gets to school and no longer needs to have it on.

Love this Jacket

With this being a standard fit jacket, I got it in size medium. I am usually between medium and large in most OR tops. I am 5'4 size 36D bust and I find this jacket fits perfect everywhere except the bust where it is just a little tight. But I know the sleeves and waist of the jacket would have been way too big in the large. Just a common problem I have with tops. If you are in between sizes and plan on wearing this over a fleece or bulky sweater, I would get a size up. I usually wear this over a light sweater or just a long sleeve. I love how lightweight and warm this jacket it. It is exactly what I was looking for.
