RATING AND REVIEWS

Great crack gloves.

Fit slightly big

Work good!

Use these gloves a few times, they fit and grip well. I have large hands and wasn't sure the L/XL would actually fit, but they did! My only concern is the feel of the material the gloves are made of, lite yes but will they last, I guess I will find out!

Velcro doesn't stick after 10 climbs

need more durability and sizing changes, climb well

these are good crack gloves but I found that they fall apart very quickly. They protect every part of your hand while trad climbing and stay in place. I live and climb in leavenworth, WA on granite and one season shredded the leather near where they connect around your wrist. I would like to see OR use thicker leather which would increase the life of these gloves. Second the sizing is weird. I am a large in everything from jackets to gloves and the s/m is what fit me best. I would be psyched to get another pair of these if OR addressed these two pieces. For know I would recommend putting the gloves on then wrapping your wrist with tape to protect the closure system and increases the life of these gloves.

Super sleek, fit well, could be more durable.

4

Crack climbing. The fit is great, they feel like extra skin. Sadly, after one 5 day trip they are starting to wear out.

The gloves work great and I haven't noticed any durability issues after a few months of regular use.

Better than anything else but lacking in durability.

I've had a pair of these gloves for about a year now and although I love them they are really falling apart. The stitching on the Velcro has ripped out so I can't keep them secured any more and several of the fingers have blown out (pinky and middle finger). That and the protective/grip pad is torn up and is starting to peel off. I don't doubt that I've put them through the wringer, probably climbing near 100 days with them in many different size of crack from thin hands to OW in everything from sandstone to super sharp granite, but I think they could reasonably be made a bit more durable in these key areas to make them last even longer (Velco & finger holes). These will save you a huge hassle & even maybe money over tape gloves, and I hope the next generation is even better than this one. I like them much more than the beefier Ocun gloves because I have relatively large hands and I don't want to make thin hand (BD #1 size) cracks any harder to stuff my hands in.

Great update

I've had a used the original version of these for a while now and while I love how thin they are for tight hand cracks, the velcro would never stay put. Luckily, the new version seams to have fixed that and they feel like the might be a little more durable around the fingers too!
