One jacket for them all

This jacket/shell covers it all; peaks, trails, slopes, and day travel. It has been used through it all. Be sure to have a nice base layer to go along with it.

Awesome. It's just awesome.

This jacket is exactly what I was looking for in a solid, well built, gore-tex jacket. Fit is really nice. I'm 6'1 170 lbs, and the large is great. Nice stretch and arms are long enough that cuffs don't rise. It's a standard fit which is nice if you want to layer which I do while in the backcountry. I probably could have gone with a medium but I like the room and ability to layer when weather is cold here in Golden. Also, it's a nice length; not too long but great coverage. Buy this jacket.

I would buy this product again for sure!!!

Great jacket with the awesome fit I am 174cm 66kg (purchased small size) fits well not bulky, cuffs length just perfect great hood easy to adjust, no restriction on movements stretchy just what I like. I use this jacket mostly for outdoors Snowboarding/skiing, Mountain biking.. great gear would recommend for sure.

No regrets

The stretch panels make all the difference. I never even notice wearing the jacket which is the best compliment I can give it.

Love the stretch

So I always have a challenge with sizing. I am tall (6'2") but thin (180lbs). I am one of those in between size types. Luckily I prefer things to be a little loose so going with the large works out as long as I am using it in the winter and have insulation on underneath. A medium would be a more alpine fit, but then the sleeves would be on the short side and the jacket too tight with insulation on underneath. But the stretch is nice when extending the arms and the breath-ability is on par with most breathable jackets...don't push it too hard and sweat.

Incredible multi purpose bomb proof shell.

I cannot say enough good things about this jacket. Brought it backpacking on a rainy Alaskan weekend and it kept me dry throughout and I've worn it down every run I've skied this year and it's stretched with me while keeping me warm and dry. It is narrow enough to stay out of the way of a pack and long enough to keep the snow from blowing up around my stomach. Eliminating the powder skirt was an excellent move. I am 5'11 180 and got the medium which gives me enough space for an ascendant and a thinner fleece layered underneath for the extra cold days. Worth every penny. I love this thing

Great jacket

I love the fit and flexibility of this jacket!

Greatest Backcountry Hardshell

This jacket is amazing. Was finally able to take it out with the traverse pant and had the most comfortable day in the backcountry in it. Did a 7 mile round trip in it and was never uncomfortable. The stretch panel in the back was great and made wearing a pack that much better, This along with the traverse pant has made for the best longer day in the backcountry yet!

Great blend of function and style

Great jacket that ticks all the boxes! Good looking, light, durable and maneuverable.

Most excellent shell

This is a really solid shell. I replaced my old Maximus jacket with this one and I could not be happier. I am 5'11" and 175lbs, and the medium Maximus fit well but was snug. The medium on the hemispheres jackets has just enough more room, and it moves and breathes very well. Highly recommended.

Hello, I'm replacing a defective Maximus Jacket (used for skiing and general outdoor activity). Looks like the Hemispheres Jacket is the best replacement... problem is you don't have any stock. When will you get new stock (size M) so I can order this jacket? Thanks. -John

we will see the hemispheres return with our coming fall 2019 line release around late Aug/early sept, hoping this helps the restock timing!

I just purchased this jacket for skiing, I ski only at Sugarloaf in Maine, where it is quite cold in December, January, and February. I am concerned that this jacket will not provide adequate warmth, even with a base layer. What do you recommend that I wear underneath it?

for your location in the country, I would recommend a synthetic insulated jacket like our refuge or ascendant, both would pair nice under the hemispheres for additional warmth
