RATING AND REVIEWS

Surprisingly Spectacular

I bought this jacket as an extreme insulation layer for running/pacing ultra marathons overnight, when conditions get cold, and you may not be moving quickly. Or for running in extreme cold. I have used it for both and am beyond please. The last run was 6F with 10 mph wind gusts. I only wore a wool base layer, this jacket and a Gortex windbreaker and had all the warmth without any of the bulk. Usually I'd have quite a few more layers on in those conditions. I've also taken it camping and worn it to pace runners when they were 80 miles into a mountain race and not moving quickly. It's a great piece. The fit/cut is perfect - flattering but gives you room for movement. I was surprised by the versatility and highly recommend the jacket - although it looks like it is going away?

Fits like a glove and looks great

The jacket is perfect. I've been looking for a comfortable, cozy and versatile jacket for a while. This one is all of the above. It's perfect. I love it.

Great investment.

First, my favorite color is blue so I very much love the colors of this jacket. This is a very comfortable jacket that serves its purpose well. I probably would not wear it for mountaineering (not warm enough) but I would pretty much wear it everywhere else if layered properly. FYI, it is slim fitting.

Nice jacket but not very warm

This jacket is comfortable and stylish but I was surprised with how poorly it does with keeping me warm. It is very thin and doesn't keep me warm in fall Seattle weather. The pocket zippers often get stuck on their liner fabric making it stressful if there are things in them that I can't access. A nice, comfortable jacket, but isn't reliable for cold weather.

Exactly what I was looking for

Works well for both layering and wearing alone and is a great all-round synthetic puffy layer.

I LOVE this jacket!

I LOVE this jacket! It is the perfect weight (super light), and can fit in super small spaces. It's warm enough to wear by itself, but also breathable enough to layer with other jackets. Plus, it fits perfectly! I'm generally a small OR a medium in other brands (often right in the middle). I typically end up ordering a medium because I would rather have something that is too big than too small, but I went with the small on this and it ended up fitting perfectly!

Yes and yes!

Great coat so far! I've worn it a few times in both casual and adventure settings and am very happy. It stood up nicely to light drizzle, beading the rain off well. Not sure how it would do in heavier rain. I wore it recently to do a spring volcano summit and it kept me warm when it needed to with mountain breezes and colder temps, yet breathed well on the ski uphill. Finally, I love the style and fit! As a petite person who struggles to find things that fit in adult sizes (ugh seriously??) this has a nice slim fit that doesn't make me look like a 12 year old in their dad's baggy coat. YES!

Bought this coat for my wife for Christmas. Mainly to use a liner under her ski coat (she tends to over layer). She absolutely loves it! She has worn it everyday this last week.... - 3 days skiiing - 2 hikes - 1 holiday car trip over the pass & back The hood fits great under her helmet and the coat works great as a layer. She is also looking for to using it as a packable this spring for hiking & biking

How long are the sleeves? I have a problem finding jackets with long enough sleeves... Thanks!

Lesley

Hi Lesley, The sleeve length starts at 31" for an XS and increases 1" for each additional size up. The sleeve length is measured from the center back neck seam to center of cuff (straight measurement). Thanks for contacting OR,

Paul
