I have used these gloves for the past year and have really abused them. I originally bought them for Infantry Officer Basic Leader Course and then took them through 84 days of ranger school. These gloves are by far the most tactile glove I have ever used! Even wearing these gloves I am able to disassemble my M4, change radio frequencies on ASIPs and MBIRTs, and pretty much do anything that doesn't require a touch screen. This is a huge plus to me because I hate taking my gloves on and off especially in a tactical environment.
The biggest downside of these gloves is their durability. The grip on the palm of the gloves comes of easily and leaves long rubber strips hanging off of your palm that you end up ripping off. This eventually leaves your palm with no grip, which I actually liked better but it did make it hard to grip certain materials. After putting these gloves through ranger school they definitely started to show wear and some of the finger seams have started to blow out.
While these gloves are very thin they still provide a good deal of protection. Once while changing a barrel on a machine gun my thumb touched the top of the barrel. Without this glove I would have suffered at least second degree burns but this glove kept me safe. While it did burn a hole in the glove.
Overall, I have loved these gloves and I have been very hard on them. And while these might not be the most durable glove with the OR lifetime warranty I was able to get my abused pair replaced. OR is a fantastic company and this is an outstanding glove.

These gloves fail to perform as advertised, are poorly designed, and of poor quality. The company tried to redesign a simple glove and ended up creating something half as good at double the price. The box construction of the fingers places two seams at the fingertip. This design reduces the ability to perform fine motor movements such as manipulation of electronics or disassembly of weapons. It also makes the gloves uncomfortable to wear while working. The superfluous silicon adds nothing to the gloves. Go for Mechanix, Whitewater, or batting gloves. If you want to buy OR, go for one of their nomex and leather offerings, such as the firemark or overlord. The extra money spent will be entirely worth it. Whatever option you pursue, stay away from these gloves.

Comments about OR Ironsight Gloves:

I used the gloves not so much in a tactical sense, but while conducting work in SE Asia. The work was mostly manual labor, and screening soil that we dug up through a screen which is the equivalent of a large cheese grater. I did this every day for about 30 days, After washing the gloves they are practically brand new again. Most durable tactical glove I've ever purchased!!!

I was issued these gloves by my agency ( FLEO) and they have been great. I have spent long days at the range with these gloves and they have held up wonderfully.

Comments about OR Ironsight Gloves:

Gloves fit true to size. Very lightweight and low profile. Great tactile feel and excellent grip, even in wet weather. Grip issues on super smooth surfaces, but then most gloves have grip issues on super smooth surfaces.
No issues with delimitation of silicone after 6 months of useナナ yet.

Buy 'em, they're awesome!

Comments about OR Ironsight Gloves:

Not what they are originally intended for, but these make excellent diving gloves. Synthetic leather dries fast, and the grip is decent for a submerged grip.

What I do : Canadian Paratrooper

Where I have used them : CQB, Water, Boats, Aircraft and Under Canopy, Jungle, Woods, Woods and Woods.

Pros : Lightweight, Dry very fast, Excellent grip on most surface (less on metal when wet), Perfect snug fit.

Cons : When used in the woods, with weather changing, the silicone on the palm tend to tear after a certain time because of the the glove being wet and dry quickly.

Overall perfect.

I would positively recommend those gloves to anyone in the military/police department/shooter.

Best shooting glove

Comments about OR Ironsight Gloves:

These are my go to shooting gloves. Super comfy. The tacky grip material is perfect for handling guns. Thin, great dexterity, and not too warm. I also use the Silencer gloves, but these are more comfortable and provide more grip. It would be nice to get them in multi-cam pattern like some of the OR hats.

Comments about OR Ironsight Gloves:

I'm always on the lookout for good general (light) use/shooting gloves. I've had the Ironsights for over a year and they are my favorite shooting gloves. I've bought other offerings from OR, PIG Alpha gloves, Mechanix, Wiley X, and various other gloves.

None compare to the Ironsight in my opinion. Very close fit, and very dexterous and tactile. I genuinely do not mind shooting with them on.

Though mine are starting to wear, I just can't bring myself to get rid of them and keep having the local Afghan tailor mend them.

I hope they get more Coyote Mediums soon.

      Comments about OR Ironsight Gloves:

I use these as one of my Police duty gloves. I have another pair that I use for searching and when I need more protection on my hand. This is a great tactical glove with great feeling in all fingers and palm. I used them on the range and they work very well. They are very light and soft. There are no friction points and the loops are a great addition that make it easy to attach to a vest, pack or belt. They fit my hand very well. I am a medium and they are an exact fit. Of note for police work. They don't have a leather palm and cleaning isn't as easy as leather once they get contaminated. I often soak my gloves in Isogel after use but the fabric of the glove will soak most of it up and make it difficult to wipe off. They also offer little of protection. This is why I still use another glove for searching and confrontations. As a tactical glove, they excel! I spent a year in Afghanistan and they would have been my primary glove there.

Measure around a flat hand at the knuckles,do not include your thumb. Also measure your hand length from the base of your palm to the end of your middle finger. Use the larger of the two measurements to select your glove size.
