RATING AND REVIEWS

Tough gloves for tough work.

4

Snug fit and lots of protection without sacrificing grip or tactile sense. Great for hard use in unfavorable conditions.

Great gloves, used them to change a flat in the cold.

5

Trying out a few different gloves from a few different companies these are the best so far and good enough that i am getting a second pair to leave in my wife's car and maybe another for my boat.

Favorite ice climbing glove

5

Highly dexterous, warm for the wait (although too cold to use in extreme conditions or if your blood is in pumping), excellent grip, great fit. If you like your gloves extra tight, you can even drop down one size but you will probably wear the glove out even faster. I'm a size large and I enjoy using both a large and a medium depending on conditions and difficulty of the route.

Dexterous & sticky

5

The Alibi II is my go-to ice climbing glove. It's remarkably dextrous and sticky, and makes placing screws and manipulating carabiners and the rope easy. However, it has virtually no insulation, so as soon as they get wet, misery follows. Either punch it through wet sections and carry belay gloves, or I find a different glove for ice climbing flows that are likely wet.

Excellent ice/mixed glove

5

This glove is excellent for ice and mixed climbing. Excellent fit, padding where you need and want it, a surprising amount of warmth given its low weight and excellent dexterity, and the leather in the palm is fantastic. I'll be a repeat buyer of this product. The only downfall is that I wouldn't use this glove for much other than ice and mixed. Other gloves of a similar ilk are great to use for ski touring, winter running or mountain biking in cooling conditions, This glove is less suited for those, but taken for what it is [ice and mixed climbing], it's one of the best out there, and a worthy acquisition.

Super Grippy

4

These gloves are super grippy. If you need to handle tools in semi/cold weather these gloves are great. They are good to about minus -10 C as they offer littlw insulation.

I would buy this product again!

For winter time farm/outdoor chores these gloves are nice. Flexible/not to bulky for handling equipment handles in the cold weather. Warm. Love the wrist closures for keeping dirt/stuff from creeping into your finger portion of the gloves.

Great Fit and Grip, a Bit Clammy

4

Excellent ice climbing lead glove. They fit well, have excellent grip on ice tools, excellent feel for grabbing gear off the harness and tying knots. The only downside is that it seems like a layer of moisture quickly forms inside the gloves and makes them a bit cold and wet feeling. While I'm lead climbing I don't notice it but as soon as I get to a belay station I can feel it and generally switch these gloves for a warmer pair.

Lightweight and dexterous

5

Not very warm but great dexterity and grip - that's the normal compromise you'd expect. Only complaint is that they take a while to dry. Ideal for fall and spring climbing.

Are these gloves windproof? Or also are the Coldshot Tactical Gloves windproof? Looking for something to use on my bicycle and motorcycle.

Sam

Hi Sam, The Alibi II Gloves and the Coldshot Gloves are not windproof. We would recommend purchasing a specific windproof glove built for motorcycling and/or cycling. If you wanted to purchase our gear though, we would suggest the Stormtracker Sensor Gloves, which have great dexterity and are more durable than our fleece Backstop Sensor Gloves. Thanks for contacting OR,

Paul
