RATING AND REVIEWS

Best combo mit I've found to date

5

These are great liners! I bought them to use for winter running and cross country skiing. Well, got them right before heading to Indian Creek for Thanksgiving thinking I'd not need to break them out. Was I wrong! It was so cold there over this past weekend and I was so thrilled with how warm these glove/mits kept my hands in the midst of wet and snowy conditions in Indian Creek. Now that I'm back in Wyoming, looking forward to putting some even more weather miles on these guys!

Good, lightweight 2 in 1 gloves

I use these for spring ski touring and Nordic skiing. Very lightweight and thin protection without the mitt covers- which I like for warmer days. When the wind gets chilly or it's time to descend, the mitts add some wind protection.

Good for running, fingers are a bit big

These are great for running. I love that I can have the mitten on when I start out or if it's particularly windy, but if I warm up on my run I can take the mitten off. So far I've used them at around 30 - 35 F, and if I had to guess I'd say they'd be good down to at least 20 F (for running, not just walking around). The only con is that the fingers on the inner glove part are a bit too big for my hands, which means they (1) can be a little bulky in the mitten at first, and (2) are a bit tough tough to use as smartphone gloves. I tend to stop noticing the bulk about 5 minutes into running so it's not really a big issue.

I am in between on sizes for gloves. Should I go up a size or down?

chris

Hi Chris, We would recommend going with the larger (circumference) size. Thanks for contacting OR,

Paul

Are the thumb and forefinger touch-screen compatible?

Sebastian

HI Sebastian, yes, the thumb and index fingertip is touch-screen compatible. Thanks for contacting OR!

How to measure

Measure around a flat hand at the knuckles,do not include your thumb. Also measure your hand length from the base of your palm to the end of your middle finger. Use the larger of the two measurements to select your glove size.
