      Comments about Backcountry Organizer:

I use this as a hygiene bag for anything from an overnight in the woods to a month long excursion in the backcountry. For its size, it packs WAY more than you'd expect. I fit deodorant, toothbrush and toothpaste, a pack of razors, electric razor and spare batteries, nail clippers, comb, eye drops, microfiber towel, and floss easily, all while still having some room to spare and maintaining packability.

        Comments about Backcountry Organizer:

I use the backcountry organizer to hold all of my bathroom items for backcountry and road trips. It's small and lightweight enough to pack minimally for the backcountry, but also has tons of compartments when you want to bring all of the extras on a road trip.

Super light weight, this little bag is an excellent addition to my ruck sack. Surprisingly holds quite a bit and is extremely durable. Wish I had found it years ago!

        Comments about Backcountry Organizer:

I had three of these 25 years ago, and I absolutely loved them!! The fabric delaminated, and you replaced them with this new model. The old one had a bunch more of really functional, 3 dimensional pockets. This new one has merely flat sewn pockets and so, nothing fits, making these things useless. I don't even use the replacements you sent me.

OR, if you ever come to your senses, and bring back the old pattern, I will have several of these once again. Each car, each emergency pack, and each backpack will once again be organized!! Come on OR; you are better than this!!

#3 is a nice toiletry bag

        Comments about Backcountry Organizer:

I bought the Backcountry Organizer #3 to make a serious medical kit for backcountry work and I'm sorry that this didn't suit my needs because it is a really nice bag. I didn't know when I ordered the bag that it is purpose-built as a toiletries bag but it is exactly that, complete with the hook to hang it up in a hotel/hostel bathroom. I expected the bag to be able to accomodate all of my basic med stuff including my Littmann stethoscope and Sphygmomanometer but it is a bit too tight. It would work quite well for most people as a first aid bag for your car or kayak but I carry far more medical stuff than most folks. As a bag for your toothbrush and basic hygiene stuff while travelling, this will be great. I may use it to replace my leather shave kit for air travel because it is much lighter. The build quality is rock solid as you would expect from OR. I'm dinging the product 1 star simply because it was advertised as an "organizer" when in reality it is a "toiletry bag" and should be marketed as such.

holds all the things you don't already have a specific place for.

i've owned one for about ten years and it still gets used all the time.

I have two of these. I'm using one as a first-aid kit for short and medium trips (I have the smaller size) and another as storage for go-to items (wallet, cellphone, basic first aid, flashlight, matches, a small spoon).
