Best Mittens I have ever worn!
I would recommend these to anyone who spends time outside in the winter. They are super warm and dry!

I really like these mits. I can take out the fleece liners, which are great btw, and put in down mits. It took me awhile to figure it out but the magnet in the liner sits right on my watch and stops it while i am wearing the mit. Kinda silly but an observation that might solve a mystery for someone else before it happens. I just turn my watch over when wearing these mits. Thanks for a good product!

I ordered a small and it's still to big for my hands. I like the strap for attaching the glove to the wrist, but it's difficult to tighten it to the wrist. I like being able to cinch the glove over the ski jacket, but the release is not as easy to use as on other ski gloves.

Very adaptable will the shell and fingers being the removable kind but these mitts almost have too many add-ons as they could be comfortable and more compact to grip better. They are warm if doing any activity though.

Pretty robust mitts; they came just as a subzero blast hit the Northeast. Some might find the seams of the liners uncomfortable, however, so these may not be to everyone's liking. Regardless, they will likely keep you warm under almost any conditions you will enoounter short of summitting Mt. Washington on the coldest days, or Denali.

Impressed out of the box with the shell. They have a lot of features that are borrowed from the Alti mitts, the insulation in the mitt is nice and makes them pretty versatile. Big loops to pull on and off and hang up are nice. The liners are unsatisfactory. They fit poorly, especially around the thumbs, where they have gaps that won't close. The have nothing to keep them from sliding down your palm when opened. With a one piece mitt liner the Meteor mitts would be hands down 5 stars and an incredible value. I go 3 stars because I already have other liners to put in them. If I didn't I would not recommend them. The liners are trying to do too much and not doing any of it well. If you get these mitts plan on getting another liner or go with the High Camp mitts which appear to have a proper liner. Hopefully OR rethinks the liner on this otherwise nice piece of equipment.

Kept my hands warm and dry during a week of skiing. Temps in the low teens with high winds and snow.

Bought for Breck trip this winter. If they are anything like the other gear OR produces, I know they'll impress.

Hi Séamas, The heat pack pocket is on the back of the hand-mitt liner, the opening is on the index finger side. Thanks for contacting OR,

Hi Hal, Your proposed system would work, however, if you wanted to use the included Meteor Mitt liners you will have to size up. I don't believe they make a heated gauntlet (wrist/cuff area), you would probably have to use instant heat packs. If you would like to use the MotionHeat liners, we would actually recommend the Alti Mitts. They are our warmest gloves and feature 170g of Primaloft Gold Insulation in the shell, and the liners have 340g of synthetic insulation. As stated above, you will have to size up if you wanted to use the included liners with the MotionHeat liners. Thanks for contacting OR,
Paul

Measure around a flat hand at the knuckles,do not include your thumb. Also measure your hand length from the base of your palm to the end of your middle finger. Use the larger of the two measurements to select your glove size.
