A weatherproof GORE-TEX® insert, Pittards® Oiltac goat leather palm, and PrimaLoft® Gold insulation infused on palm and back of hand, the Vitaly Gloves are the result of tireless testing and years of research to find the best solution to the harsh challenges that ice climbing imposes on its athletes. The overcuff design includes a SuperCinch Gauntlet™ and elasticized wrist to ensure your handwear stays secure, while protective overlays on critical seams add durability to dexterity for a completely encompassed protection system for your most important tools - your hands.

RATING AND REVIEWS

Good Ice Glove For Very Cold Weather

5

Overall these gloves are a great addition to my ice climbing quiver. Depending on the conditions, the gloves I I use are the Alibi, Project, Extravert, Luminary, and now these. I see the Vitalys replacing the Luminary gloves, which are warm but don't have as much dexterity. I've climbed in these at ~5 degrees with 15-20 mph winds and was plenty warm in these even while climbing. The only thing about these is that they have a bit of insulation on the palm and front of the fingers, which is great for warmth but reduces dexterity and feel a little bit (which is compounded somewhat by fingertips that feel a tad loose - but that could just be me). For very cold conditions, that's a compromise that often needs to be made and that's where the Vitalys shine (compared to the Luminary, they have comparable warmth and better dexterity), but for milder temperatures I'd recommend something a little thinner.

Withstands harsh maritime environment on Bering Sea, Alaska

5

Just returned from a 6 day hunt for waterfowl on the Bering Sea off of St. Paul Island, Alaska (same place as Deadliest Catch boats dock). Conditions were brutal. Temps were in mid to high 20s and gloves were constantly soaked everyday due to crashing waves, salt spray, and 40-50 mph winds. Gloves kept my hands warm and most importantly dry no matter the abuse they took. The dexterity was great. They allowed me to be able to handle shells to reload as well as keep a positive grip on my gun no matter how wet they got. They are super warm without the bulk, this allowing me to be able to do everything, including pulling the trigger without having to remove them which you can't do with a lot of gloves. Definitely glad I purchased them and will recommend them to anyone in the future taking this once in a lifetime trip to a very remote and austere environment.

A Winter Dream!

5

These gloves are truly fantastic. I've always suffered from poor circulation in my hands, and these gloves are a delightful surprise. I used them on a winter hike of Mt. Marcy in the Adirondacks late December; the temperatures were sub-zero and with the combination of physical exertion, the gloves performed great. They are waterproof, windproof, and have great dexterity too. I really enjoy the ability to easily cinch the cuff of the glove with one hand too. For most users these gloves should be perfect.

So Warm

5

Warmest gloves I've ever worn. I feel indestructible in them. Easy to adjust. They do fit very big, I have a small and I still feel like my fingers are a little loose in them
