RATING AND REVIEWS

Terrible liner and sizing

2

The liner is not like OR's other liners in their mitts, these get caught and bunched up. The gloves also run small in comparison to their other hand gear, but are warm.

Great glove

Great gloves. However two things to know; They are hard to put on with liners already in the glove. You need to put on liners first, then put on the gloves when liners are needed. Glove should have pocket for hand warmers not just on glove liners.

Nice gloves but they barely fit my paws

I miss the days when OR made XXL gloves.

Great budget glove

These are great for the price. They performed well in 10-20 degree snowy conditions this weekend. I really like the ability to slip them on the finger loop to keep them oriented down while on harness. I like the modular option with the liner glove. Great budget winter glove. The only complaint I have really is sizing that that is personal. I am consistently in between Medium and Large in most OR products so it may just be me. These are a little big on me but the mediums I've tried are much too small. I follow the sizing chart closely and I am indeed right on the line between medium and large. I understand gloves, in particular, are difficult to get a good fit in. For reference, I fit great in Petzl Cordex Mediums.

Overall

5

Use these gloves for snowboarding, snowmaching, hiking. The gloves get a little cold in the negative temps, but I've had that problem with every glove I've owned unless its a heavier duty mitten. Hot hands and these gloves work good for colder temps. Also, they had good grip for riding my sled. Overall, I am very pleased with the gloves' performance.

Awesome gloves for price point and features

Got a chance to use these over the past few days for an outdoor exercise in -15c and fairly high winds. Hands were never cold while wearing shell and liners were good enough to do finer movement for equipment without having to expose hands fully. Great product.

I have used these for shoveling snow as well as using trekking poles while hiking. After a few weeks of periodic use they are already fraying and coming apart at the seams. Also, they are not warm in temperatures below 30 degrees F.

Too small

I purchased a size large but when I got them they fit like a size medium. They fit comfortable without the liners but I can't use them to their full potential in colder weather.

Better than I thought, hands can still get cold

4

I was in need of gloves and bought these after much searching. They were good except in extreme cold (< 10 deg F), even when I was generating heat skinning uphill. I did like them for skiing down, with a good grip and nice gauntlet, but was a bit surprised they weren't warmer. They're still on the A-team, but I will be bringing hand warmers for cold weather.

How to measure

Measure around a flat hand at the knuckles,do not include your thumb. Also measure your hand length from the base of your palm to the end of your middle finger. Use the larger of the two measurements to select your glove size.
