RATING AND REVIEWS

Awesome gloves!

5

Awesome liners . I would buy another pair.

Just okay...

As a thin, warm, liner...these gloves are fantastic! However...I bought them for the biosensor-aspect. I usually end up pulling the gloves off in frustration after 15-20 seconds of attempting to enter my access code on the screen of my iPhone 6.

Great Gloves

I got these gloves as a gift for Christmas 4 years ago and I have been using them every year, on one of the gloves the fabric on the finger ripped open but I'm buying another because how reliable they are!

Run small not durable

These are pretty thin, though not a bad thing necessarily. Depends on how you want to use them. I used them for some field work in brush and rock, and that's not what they are designed to do. They also shrink a bit with washing, and gentle dry. I suppose I should have air dried...my bad. I am in between sizes and bought the smaller end based on the sizing chart. Should have bought the larger size. My wife likes them, though.

Fell apart in only 1 week

Don't get me wrong, I love Outdoor Research gear, but these gloves are NOT durable. As a mountain guide and a member of a mountain rescue team, durable liner gloves is an essential. I've been looking for a decent option of wool glove, as I have been through several pairs of Smart Wool and they always fall apart within 1 week. I'd hoped these would be different, but nope. 1 week in and already I have two fingers that have blown out at the ends, and the seam between thumb and forefinger tore open. Another useless pair of liners. Don't buy these and go with the PL 150s or PL400s I've had better luck with those.

great functionality, came a little too tight.

they great the only thing keeping them from a five star is that they were a little too tight but i followed the sizing chart accordingly. biosensor works flawlessly

Sweet gloves

5

These are great. I use them for everything. I combine them with the Revel mits when I'm playing in the snow. They breathe well when touring and stay warm when they are damp. Underneath the shell mits they keep tons of warmth, even if they are soaked. I have also used them in combination with linebackers(football) gloves for ice and mixed climbing. They are thin enough to work well with tools and provide a bit of warmth under the super thin linebacker gloves. The benefit of this setup is that when its up to you to belay, the working glove comes off and these liners can go into big belay gloves to stay warm and dry out.

A very light liner

4

A good light liner. If using as a glove; Does not cut wind and I would not recommend using in temps below 35F. If using as a liner in cold conditions, recommend going with a set of PL's vice these.

Finding yourself in weather crisis

4

I got these kind of as a second thought, for a backpacking trip I was taking. But, as I soon discovered it would rain the entire hike in and most of our first night. It was something good enough to keep on my hands and keep the moisture away from my hands, which in turn kept my hands warmer since it was cooler than expected because of the rain. Between the rain and the fog never burning off that day it kept me warm when a heavier pair of gloves may of caused me to sweat. And as we all know sweat is the enemy! If I hadn't had a small run in one of my glove fingers when I got these in my order it would of received a 5 star rating.

Great lightweight glove for spring/summer/fall

I stuff these gloves in my pack for everything I'm going to do in the mountains, just in case. Not a ton of insulation, but great for when you need a little barrier between you and the wind (or the sun at high altitude).

How to measure

Measure around a flat hand at the knuckles,do not include your thumb. Also measure your hand length from the base of your palm to the end of your middle finger. Use the larger of the two measurements to select your glove size.
