Attention birdhunters: Great bird hunting pants - so far

      Comments about Men's Cirque Pants:

Bought these for MT bird hunting - specifically wet, cool conditions, under which the pants have functioned exactly as I have expected them to. So far so good, very impressed. Will put them through the ringer for next 3 months - mud, hound's tongue, buffaloberry - all kinds of punishment.
Appreciate the light warm lining, reinforced cuffs, and waist cinches.
Soaked them in wet grass and shrubs this AM, although bottom of pants eventually wetted out - to be expected - the calves up shedded most water and kept me dry.
If these hold up to the abuse, might be the best pants I have found for this purpose yet. Time will tell.........

      Comments about Men's Cirque Pants:

Love these pants, they're durable and they move well with you. Material weight is perfect for anything but hot summer days, light rains just bead off, pockets are great, adjustable waist means you don't need a belt. Only issue is the thighs are too tight. After reading reviews I bought the next larger size up which feels slightly to big everywhere but the thighs. 'hey OR ppl how hike/climb/ski don't have skinny legs". All that said I still think I'll get a second pair. I do a lot of field work and adventuring and the larger size is still comfortable. Perfect for fall trips or casual ice climbs

      Comments about Men's Cirque Pants:

Bulletproof. From early morning alpine starts through hot midday climbing and midnight rappels, these pants got the job done. Superbly shed water, breathed the entire day, and moved with me as I climbed. Would improve by adding additional back pocket.

      Comments about Men's Cirque Pants:

These pants seemed great and I really wish they would have worked out but they did not fit adequately. I'm 5'10 and 155lbs and I ordered the small. The waist and length were both good but the thighs were just too tight to allow needed maneuverability. The construction, fabric, and features all seemed nice though.

      Comments about Men's Cirque Pants:

I use these pants for forestry work - lying out cutblocks, timber cruising etc in Southern British Columbia. I was worried about them being too hot for summer work but they are just fine and the added durability is worth it. I really like the reinforced material around the bottom - good for protection from caulk boots. The stitching is coming out in a couple places though so may need to return them if it gets worse. Very comfortable pant and overall quite durable.

Been using this pant for 4 years now and would buy again if needed. But I don't have to buy again because they are so good! Unless another color is needed. Wore them on Rainier and Madhu Picchu, camp fires and snowboarding. Great comfort all day long.

Took these out for ice axe arrest practice and general trudging through snow. They breathed well and were very water resistant. I'll probably buy another pair.

Comments about OR Men's Cirque Pants:

These are one of my favorite OR pants. They are perfect for cooler weather and active adventures. They're incredibly versatile - I've used them for skiing, snowshoeing, and hiking. I haven't used them in summer yet and usually use ferrosi pants on summer backpacking hikes, but if the weather is a little cooler, these pants are great. I love that they breathable and stretch, but are also durable.
        Well worth the money!

        Great multi use pant

Comments about OR Men's Cirque Pants:

I have had the cirque pant for three years and used it for early and late season backpacking and occasionally winter skiing. This pant is outstanding for backpacking at or under 40 degrees by itself and great with a light liner under 25 degrees to about 10 degrees (moving). It is certainly not warm enough for resort skiing.

These pants have held up very well in all conditions and shed wet snow and rain well. I have worn them on multi day trips (down to -23 degrees F and up to 45F), scuffed, scraped, and abused them; used them with crampons, snowshoes and mountaineering boots, and worn them running. The built in gator feature works great and the material is very resilient. These pants have been submerged when I've gone through ice on a lake (twice) and slid down scree...no rips, tears, or noticeable abrasions.

I am 175#'s, 6', 31" waist and I have weightlifters thighs. I bought the medium and they fit my waist well if not a little tight. The thighs however look like spandex on me. I would recommend the large for someone of a similar build. I ended up stealing my wife's pair (women's medium) and they fit my thighs much better (weird right?). Overall this is an outstanding pant, above 40F I wear my Ferrosi pants.

        Absolutely love them

Comments about OR Men's Cirque Pants:

I use these pants for hiking, usually in the Pacific Northwest. So I needed something that could handle temps between 30 and 80 degrees - but I especially needed something to combat the occasional rain or the moisture that you run into when you pants brush up against wet bushes and trees.

These pants are everything I could have asked for. The water protection is fantastic. The waist cinches are really solid. I'm 6'0" 180-ish, and the L fits me perfectly. One of my favorite outdoorsy purchases.
