Soft and Warm

This shirt fits well and goes with a variety of vests and jackets. I like to wear mine while outside in the woods doing Urban Woodsman things. I was wearing it today with a fleece underneath of it in 34 degree F. weather and I had no issues. I would recommend and I would buy again but I don't think I need to with the infinite guarantee.

Great all arounder.

I've read a lot of comments on OR's fit being here or there with flannels. Not really sure where that comes from. I'm 5'11" and 160ish with a slim/athletic build and all of the mediums I've got from OR fit as they should, whether it's a jacket or a flannel. I recently bought this flannel, the Feedback flannel and the Gastown shirt and they all fit my body type great. The weight of this flannel is not quite as heavy as the Feedback flannel, but it's a little more than the Gastown, so I guess I've got all of the spectrum covered. Perfect for anything you can imagine from the office to the brewery, to splitting logs then standing by the fire, this flannel fits the bill.

Meh, it is comfy doh!

I love it! But will need tailoring - bummer - they make these things for large people. It's not OR's fault, most flannels go that way. :/

Nice casual shirt!

Great cotton shirt! Fits a bit smaller than most other brands which seems to be the norm for OR products.

Possibly new favorite Fall/Winter Shirt

I imagine my wife telling me to change shirts because I love the feel and comfort and will never want to take it off. The Crony kept me comfortable both inside and outside on an daily with temperature changes (34F in the morning and 58F in the afternoon).

Nice Fleece

Took this on the river last week. Nice and warm when the evenings got a little chilly.

Does not run small, although other reviews say so.

I wear medium shirts. Others reviewed this shirt as running small and shrinking during first wash. So I ordered a large but found the shirt is, in fact, a large and stayed a large after washing. A large friend is going to get a free shirt.

Great shirt if you need a Tent....

I excitedly awaited the arrival of this shirt...and it finally arrived. I opened the package...the shirt is very soft. The color is muted (which I really like) and it isn't too heavy...seems just right. I put it on and the chest...bang on, the arms...bang on, the waist...I could fit three of me in it, the, it is like a monk's robe. I am not a huge guy, 5'10", 195lbs, but I am not small. I have a 45" chest and ordered the large. I have several other OR shirts and they all fit better. I have a couple Feedback Flannel Shirst, in large as well and they fit pretty close to the same in the chest and arms. They are a bit less baggy in the belly and much shorter. Unfortunately, I won't be able to wear this shirt. Pretty bummed about it. Still love OR, but the sizing is terrible.

Wrong Design

For the Guarantee Outdoor Research tends to offer, I wish they stuck with tried and true products more often. This shirt uses the wrong design for the properties of a flannel shirt. I wish the design with the length and godets like from the Remy or Gastown shirt. The flannel is not a smooth fabric, and when you lift your arms, the lack of room in the shoulders and waist, ends up getting the shirt raised up and bunched over the hips and causing too much abrasion with the armpits. It's a counterintuitive design for the fabric at hand, despite the hispters all wanting their skin tight shirts today. There's a reason the Feedback Flannel design is so well rated, because the design is cut for a flannel and not an on the skin base layer. Appearances I tend not to care about, but when companies change their fabric colors every year, there ends up being a lot of ugly colors.

Mine shrunk first wash in cold, line dried.
