A great buy

Nice and light, it's been a great top or bottom layer for me.

Best Hiking shirt I have found

5

I have used this shirt hiking through Southern Indiana in damp Spring conditions. I hiked Hava Supai and the Grand Canyon in this shirt in August. I wore this model of shirt on several overnight bikepacking trips. I love these shirts. They comfortable, dry quickly, and keep the sun off your skin. They may be SPF 15, but I am fair skinned and have wore then in extreme sun conditions for long periods and have not been burned through them. The only negative is that they do snag rather easily. Stain resistance is good. These would make great work shirts I'm sure, but are a bit pricey for that. Try to catch them on sale.

Surprised by fit

I was shocked at the fit of this product. Sleeves were long and big. The chest and fit were huge!

Fraying

3

I just used this shirt on a 4 day backpacking trip. The shirt performed great on the trail. However, after completing the trip I inspected the shirt and it appears to be fraying in many places. I was disappointed, especially considering that the shirt had not yet been washed, and the fraying (mostly) did not occur anywhere that my backpack frame contacted the shirt. This result surprised me considering that OR quality is typically top notch. Perhaps I received a shirt that slipped past quality control? As of now, I would not recommend it to a friend.

Love it!

Great lightweight pullover. Worn to work, outdoors walking the dogs, evening photo shoots. Feels like perfect weight for a day of hiking when it's just not quite warm enough to wear just a shirt. I may just go buy another one in a different color right now. Click...

Long Arm Friendly

So i picked up one of these on a whim to see if it just fit. I'm 6'7" and have about a 6'10" or longer wingspan, so finding clothes is often difficult. Miraculously, this shirt fit me. Not the best in sleeve length, but well enough that it is wearable on a normal basis. Put it through just a run and a gym session so far, but really appreciate it being so very light weight and having a deeper zipper than some other brands. I'll be ordering quite a few more of these as time goes by, since I can already tell it'll make it for a good exposed hiking shirt.

Very light weight, great for running. Provides no warmth but wicks sweat very well. Great job OR.

Fasting Drying Layer

This is easily the lightest and fastest drying layer I've experienced. I have had the Echo Graphic Tee for a couple years and I just found that Zip tee. The sun protection is a great feature and I'm pleased with the visibility of the Lemongrass Color.

Week in the Grand Canyon

Bought the L/S Zip Echo for my first Grand Canyon hike - 87 Miles on Tonto platform in April - 7 Days. Being very white from winter and not experienced in the desert, I took a chance on this for sun protection. It's only rated at 15 UPF but I didn't get the slightest hint of sunburn through it, hiking all day in unobstructed sunlight. Your results may vary, but I was extremely happy this worked out. I never wear long sleeves or collars hiking, but this was entirely comfortable and very breathable even zipped all the way up which I did most of the time. Wasn't the hottest part of the summer or highest arc in the sky for the sun, but it sure felt like it to this Northeasterner. The extra length in the shirt works great too, rides nicely below the pack belt. Not sure what I'll use it for now that I'm back home, but it was well worth the price even if just for this single venture.
