I was a little worried about the leg zipper bumping/rubbing against my knees, but they do not. The zippers fall just above my knees and I don't even know they're there. I've hiked twice now with these pants, once in snowy conditions, and they were great. Super comfortable! I'm 5' 10' - 180 lbs. and they fit great.

Just got these pants, and love them already. Super lightweight, the zip up legs work great, and despite being nice and thin, they block the wind really well. I was particularly impressed with how they wicked off a light rain shower; I hope that ability lasts!

I would absolutely love these hiking pants...but OR, you need to get the sizing right, specifically with length. Waist size is correct, but one length per waist size just doesn't work, and this goes for other models as well, not just the Equinox Convertible (same goes for the Ferrosi). After having bought the Ferrosi, which also has just one length option I knew I was taking a chance on the length being right for the Equinox when I bought them just before this spring (Feb.2018). Unfortunately, it's the same story and again, I should have sent them back immediately. If I sit down with them on, there's about a 3 inch gap between the bottom of the pants and the top of my boots (which are mid's, not low's) and when I'm standing they barely cover the top of the boots. OR...please, at least offer two length options for your hiking pants, a regular and a long length with about an extra 2 inches. Even better would specific lengths so I could just order my proper 30x32, but in the interest of inventory management, I know that might be too much to ask. However, simply put, while OR would probably be my go-to for all around hiking pants, until there are multiple length options, I won't be buying another pair from you again.

I am prepping for a month in Nepal and bought these pants because of the versatility. Around town and on a few day trips they seem to fit and look good (so my wife says!)

Im not usually one to purchase the zipper off convertible pants because the zipper is always at my knee and causes pain when kneeling. These are the perfect length to not interfere or cause chaffing. I wear them hiking and for daily wear and the comfort is beyond compare. If I had a complaint, it would be the built in belt...it has a tendance to get twisted in the wash. However, the belt is convenient to use, so to me it's a fair trade off. Overall a stellar convertible pant

These pants worked well on a few day hikes in the Rockies. I'm taking them to Nepal next month as the only pair of pants.

Sad these didn't work out. They seem like terrific pants. They just looked dumpy on me.

Love these pants. I've owned a few pairs over the years of this and similar styles and OR does it best. I like the integrated belt on this new version. Light enough for a warm day hike but sturdy enough for a rainy day. Wish the back pockets zipped like the previous version, but not a deal breaker.

Awesome pants. Plenty of room in them but not too much. They keep cool and protect from the sun.
