Lightweight, breathable and highly versatile pants/shorts!

These are my go to pants for any outdoor activity. They fit loose enough to be comfortable but not so loose that they looks like floppy burlap sacks hanging off your waist.

They're lightweight, breath well and do not impose themselves at all during hiking and camping. When the weather warms up or you heat up, you can quickly unzip the lower legs to convert the into shorts. Cold? Zip them right back.

The built in belt is also lightweight while being a wide enough of a webbing to be comfortable yet strong.

The pockets are intelligently designed so as to keep any pocket contents from slipping out when you're sitting in a slouch or laying down.

Hiking, camping, poolside and paddle board, these pants/shorts can do it all. Highly recommended.

Super comfortable and allows full range of motion. They are the first pair of zip-offs I've owned that I actually like them as pants and shorts. I liked my first pair so much, I bought a second pair. OR, please don't discontinue this model.

Super nice pair of pants. Stretchy fabric does not constrict. Comes with attached belt. Will be putting to use heavily this summer while wet-wading. Another nice product from OR. Thank you!

I wear my multiple Equinox pants almost every day in all types of conditions and activities. They're perfect for backpacking, hunting, fishing, or just wanting around town. Light weight and durable, they slow incredible range of motion and versatility with the zipper allowing conversion into shorts when the weather gets a little warmer.

So far, so good!

I wore these pants camping. I didn't do a lot with them but wanted to try them out. They are comfortable and I like the belt, as well as the fact that I can take it out. They were comfortable. I like the convertible option as I went to the shorts when it got hot. I will say I wish the shorts were about 1-1.5 inches longer once converted. I like that the zippers are different colors for the leg sections and are YKK zippers! They seem to be light and good for all activities. I will say, just like the Ferrosi shorts, and other reviewers who discuss sizes, I got a 32 after I measured per the measuring chart and I probably could have gone down to a 30. If you are in between sizes, go down one. They stretch pretty good. All in all so far so good!

Light and sturdy

These convert pants are surprisingly light. They compact small so as not to take up much room. The material isn't very breathable, but that helps keep legs warm in cooler weather. I found myself half zipping the pants as weather warmed up or if I was intensely active, down grading to shirts only when I needed to.

They have survived a deployment to Iraq, a four day hiking trip, and multiple other trips around the world. The only damage they have is a small tear caused by scraping against a concrete barrier. I have had them for almost a year since that happened and they have held up amazingly.

Pretty decent pant

These pants are light and stretchy. The only criticism would be the back pockets are WAY to shallow (can't really keep a wallet or anything in them - at least put a velcro closure on them). Other then that, these are a pretty decent pant.

Lightweight without sacrificing durability and a great fit. Not overly snug in the wrong areas and no creeping up your "nether regions". Love the built in belt and the zippers on the lower legs are just the right size for boots. Keep up the great work OR. You have a customer for life!!
