Warm

Comments about OR Men's Highcamp 3-Finger Gloves:

I wore these the other day skating on the Rideau Canal, not only were they comfortable but warm as well. A few days later I wore them skiing and had to remove the liner as they were a bit too warm for the day. Quality is evident when they arrive. I would definitely recommend them.

Awesome Mitts

Comments about OR Men's Highcamp 3-Finger Gloves:

I really like these mitts. Came with a glove-style liner which helps insulate a bit. They fit as expected. Only downfall is that the index does get/stay cold at first, but once you get moving it feels like any glove would. Of course this is expected from any trigger mitt. Would definitely recommend.

Comments about OR Men's Highcamp 3-Finger Gloves:

As the title says, I love these gloves. As soon as I saw the 3 finger style, I knew they were what i was looking for, and I havent been disappointed. They have a regular glove style insert, which works well as a light softshell glove and when combined with the outershell, provides warmth and weather proof mitt. With the 3 finger mitt it not only keeps you warm but allows for dexterity to do anything yoi would with a regular glove. Reading the other review I ordered a size down, but I believe they fit true to size.

Perfect gloves for winter biking

Comments about OR Men's Highcamp 3-Finger Gloves:

I purchased these gloves for winter fat biking and love them. The liners have helped to keep my hands dry which means they stay warmer. The liners easily come out and go back in to the outer glove so I can pull my hand out with the liner on to check my phone or do something that requires a little more dexterity without freezing. I also enjoy wearing these skiing.

Hitting the sweet spot

Comments about OR Men's Highcamp 3-Finger Gloves:

I've been using these gloves almost daily for the last few months, between front and back county skiing, road and mountain biking, and related winter adventures. I'm an older, active guy and my finger get cold easily, so I'm loving the features of these gloves. Overall, I feel like I get the warmth of mittens with the dexterity of gloves. With the index finger separated, I can do most of the grabbing of poles or handle bars or even opening zippers. The generous neck of gloves allows me to ball my hand below the finger tubes when they do get cold. Very well suited for general purpose adventuring - I have yet to wish I had 5 finger gloves on.

Dig these

Comments about OR Men's Highcamp 3-Finger Gloves:

I got these to replace the Mutants that I'd had for ~15 years but still work.
I love these. The inner gloves were what I used on a -12F (high) day pheasant hunting. Bare skin on a trigger guard was a no-go, everyone else was struggling with fire controls and bulky gloves. I kept the shell on the non-trigger hand.
Well made, nimble, comfortable, definitely an upgrade over the OR Mutant.

Great trade-off

Comments about OR Men's Highcamp 3-Finger Gloves:

This mitt allows me the best trade-off between warmth and dexterity. I used them in pretty harsh conditions and sometimes in temperatures down to -30ᄚ and they are still in very good condition. Great for military purpose, they even allow you to write (with a little practice). The functional details (see description) are very well thought out and make them really easy to put on and off and convenient to tie to your equipment. I'm 6'3 and the large size fits very well.

Best Gloves for Every Activity

Comments about OR Men's Highcamp 3-Finger Gloves:

I mostly use these gloves for biking during the winter season, whether its on my road bike or fat bike. Its the ideal glove since I brake with index finger and then the rest can stay on the bar to grip. I've been using these for two seasons now, and even in -30 degrees my hands stay warm! Even after two years the gloves still look like new and hold up under the toughest of conditions. The insert also makes a great spring/fall glove. A two in one kind of deal!

Good but not perfect

Comments about OR Men's Highcamp 3-Finger Gloves:

I purchased without trying on using the online sizing chart and previous experience with OR gloves and mitts. I bought XL and find them larger than normal in sizing. They are much softer and more tactile than my other mitt, the "Mutant" and they are very warm and easy to don/doff but they could have a much greater pre-curve for easy use with ski poles and the axe and they really do not need the stiff Velcro which attaches the liner to the mitt. A second negative is that there doesn't seem to be adequate DWR on the fabric outer as in Australias wet snow conditions they wetted out very fast and took quite a while to dry out. I personally prefer my pull-on loop on the back of the gauntlet cuff but that is a minor matter and easily fixed. I will be trying to swap mine for the next size down { XL -> L} and then adding a decent shell mitt for the wetter and/or colder conditions. As a bonus these mitts do fit inside my US Army Arctic mittens in place of the issue trigger finger gloves making the system usable down to extreme negative temperatures
No guidance or information on how to treat the leather palm came with the gloves and that is an oversight which should be corrected but I will use either Snowseal or Nikwax there as it improves both the grip and the weather resistance

How to measure

Measure around a flat hand at the knuckles,do not include your thumb. Also measure your hand length from the base of your palm to the end of your middle finger. Use the larger of the two measurements to select your glove size.
