RATING AND REVIEWS

Good fit and warm with a light thickness

5

Warm and a nice profile. Mediums fits me perfectly. I'm 5'11", 162 lb in the morning, I think an average build with 40-41" chest, 31" waist, and 33" long arms. There's a lot of comments about fit being too small so I tried a large at first. Way too big, floppy arms and baggy everything. Switched with a medium that I typically wear, much better. A little extra arm length (could accommodate 34"-35") and chest room (could accommodate 43"-44" I think). Could seemingly accommodate a waist of 34-35 but that's a bit harder to gauge.

Great all-around winter jacket

This is a great piece for the transition from slope to town, crag to bar, trail to grocery store. It really does it all and had great style to boot!

Awesome Jacket

5

This jacket feels great when you put it on. It stretches and definitely moves with you. It is a little tight in the chest and back. I am 6'2, 200 pounds with a 44" chest. All other dimensions on the jacket fit perfect.

Awesome jacket

I used this jacket on a recent sheep hunting trip in the mountains. I must say that it's probably my favorite jacket of all time. It was perfect for the colder evenings back in camp, or high on the mountain searching for sheep. It isn't a rain jacket, but it does repel a light rain. The fit was great and the quality of this jacket is fantastic. I love this thing!

Amazing jacket. I love the Ferrosi line. The jacket is midweight which is exactly what I wanted. The hood is great. It will be my go to jacket.

Really nice jacket, but very trim fit

I love OR stuff. I have a lot of OR jackets. Per my wife, too many. I have the regular Ferrosi jacket in two different colors. They are awesome. I wear them all the time. I was super excited to get my hands on the winter version. When it showed up I was pleased. The material felt soft, but durable. There was a decent amount of loft without it being too puffy. I was super excited, then I tried it on. Honestly, I checked the tag and the jacket because I thought the wrong size was shipped. I mean, yes, my Dad bod has grown a bit, but all my other OR stuff fits me perfectly in Large. I can barely zip this jacket up. Its way too trim fit. Unfortunately, I have to return the Large. I am 6'1, 190 lbs.

Great hoody

5

I'm a huge fan of the normal Ferrosi hoody, and this hoody takes the exceptional durability andutility of that garment and extends it's use into the cold months. Initially, I'm impressed with the overall quality and fit of the garment. I think the puffy insulation is formidable, and it will be one of my go-to layers in the cold months, along with my Arcteryx Atom LT. Nice work, OR. The only thing I would add to this hoody are the zipper pulls that OR puts on the normal Ferrosi, to make the zippers easier to use with gloved hands, but that is just nit-pickling.

Ski pro likes this jacket!

I ordered a medium. That's how I figured out it fits small. So I swapped it for a large which works great!

How can a regular fit be tight around the chest and back?

3

Beautiful Hoodie with great OR specialized fine points. It is beyond my comprehension how the fit on this regular sized apparel could possibly be tight around the chest and back.
