Nice gloves but…

Nice gloves but they lack the dexterity required for many cold weather activities. Any heavy glove will always trade dexterity for warmth but these have a lot of stitching near the end of the thumb that makes them unnecessarily cumbersome. I think this particular feature could be redesigned and improved. The thumb and trigger finger are the most important for tasks that require fine motor skills and extra effort should be put into ensuring that stitching and excess material doesn't interfere with their use. These gloves are fine for skiing or snowshoeing but arent suitable for shooting or climbing as the excess material in the thumb constantly gets in the way and removes any tactile qualities the rest of the glove may possess. The size also seems a little toward the small side. They fit ok but are very snug. If you plan to using liners definitely order the next size up.

Great Product

Great gloves. I've worn these training in wet and freezing conditions. Also hiking mountains in below zero temperatures with 40+mph winds. My hands stayed very warm. The cuff around the wrists is a bit short for my preference. My wrists did get cold from intense winds. Other than that, very satisfied with this product.

Superb gloves, love the fit and sensor feature.

Great fit and function. The pull on loops are a great option.

Great insulated work gloves

Great gloves that will keep your hands warm down into freezing temps. I've been comfortable in the low 20's with these, but my hands were being active. If you're going to be just sitting around, they'll work into the upper 20's, I'd say. The goretex liner is great at keeping water and wind out, and the breathability makes sure your hands don't get too sweaty. Its also nice to have the leather palm for working or shooting or whatever. Not the end-all-be-all glove, but great for what it is designed for

Hi, 1. Will these keep the tip of my fingers warm, when riding a bike in cold weather conditions? 2. Do they repel water e.g. in the rain or just splashproof? thanks a lot!

Alesso, the outpost our some of our more tactile winter glove options, would be a good option for cold weather biking, they have a DWR treatment and a full goretex insert so they will repel water very nicely.
