Warm and light

Comments about Phosphor Mitts™:

Great mitt. Excellent for belay or biking to about -20 C with a thin liner for me. Nice to be able to easily shove them down into a pocket.

Relatively dexterous for a mitt, medium fit just right for use alone or with a liner under, similar to other OR gloves for me.

Worth noting - either from a couple months use biking, skiing, and climbing (all involving a lot of gripping stuff) or how they came, there isn't a ton of insulation on the palms. This is generally good for having decent grip, but one thing that reduces how warm they are.

Also, they aren't all that water resistant - throw on an overmitt if you're planning to get in the snow.

Love how these mitts fit. My hands are fairly long and I ordered the small and it fit perfectly. Love how light weight they are and very warm/comfortable.

Comments about Phosphor Mitts™:

My son plays college baseball up North (OHIO) he use these mittens all the time but bought to keep hands warm during games while in dugout. They are perfect for heavy on and off use. Often hit the dugout floor and stay dry all day. These are very durable. They are very warm and keep hands dry. I would imagine there will be many more sold to this team. Thank you

Superior Warmth

Comments about Phosphor Mitts™:

I ordered these following a partial amputation on my left hand and it was because of these gloves that I was able to continue with outdoor activities like hunting and skiing. These gloves do an incredible job of maintaining hand warmth which allows for better retention of core temperatures. I don't know that I'll ever travel without a pair in the winter!

Super Warm

Comments about Phosphor Mitts™:

These gloves are quite the combo with the windstopper and down, to the point of being excessively warm except in the coldest of temps. Use them regularly ice climbing as belay mitts, and would recommend dropping a size if that is your standard use as they are a bit bigger then what you'd expect.
Super toasty, great glove.

Hot, hot, hot!

Comments about Phosphor Mitts™:

These mitts are hot! I can't take them out until it's at least -10 or there are sweat puddles inside them. I've had them out in -30 and been perfectly happy as long as i'm moving a little, which is something I've never been able to say before. They are the best mitts I've ever had for extremely cold weather.

Although the wrist skirt seems to be somewhere in between fitting over my jacket and fitting under it I can't even get mad about it because I'm too happy with how cozy my hands are.

Comments about Phosphor Mitts™:

These are my go to mitts for extreme cold weather. They are light weight, block wind and easy to use with hiking poles.

I recently used these to summit Mt Washington, NH in icy conditions with a temperature of -25 degrees and sustained 70-85 MPH winds. The entire time my hands were over heating and never cold.

The only CON I have, is no leash. But that's more of a personal preference.

Comments about Phosphor Mitts™:

This glove is great for kickin around town, hiking through the snow to the cliff, or even belaying while your partner goes for a red point burn in cool sending temps.

Comments about Phosphor Mitts™:

These are the perfect mittens to add to your pack as your extra warm hand layer. They weigh next to nothing, and are perfectly warm for a cold day, or when its time for your ski descent after a long skin up the mountain. Highly recommend.
