I love this jacket. It's light weight, offers great wind protection, and looks good. What more can you want?!

Honestly I bought this silly thing because it was 70% off but holy cow its like one of the most versatile coats it goes with most things, its a fairly warm a not quite wind proof but pretty good and the collar makes it a little more professional looking than a hooded coat. I wouldn't say its as versatile as the ferrosi coats but definitely no slouch.

The most versatile jacket I own

5

Picked up this jacket wanting something light and versatile for most weather conditions (doesn't change much here in SoCal) . Heard they run a tad small so went up to a Large and couldn't be happier. Super lightweight, insulation isn't overwhelming, and the quality is what you would expect from Outdoor Research (top tier). All in all, this has become my most used jacket. Going to pick up another one just to have as a backup.

Great Piece

Love this "shirt jacket" - I honestly think it's much more jacket than shirt, at least that's how I've been wearing it. Great as a mid layer or a light outer layer for temperate weather (perfect in LA). It's light, very soft on the interior, and has 3 zippered pockets for secure carry. The only slight negative is the buttons kind of stink and are hard to snap, but it's manageable and the fact that it has buttons kind of sets it apart from other light jackets. Don't know if I would have bought it at original price, but consider it an absolute steal on sale - love it and have been wearing it almost every day.

I would not buy this again. Too snug, bad snaps.

For a shirt / jacket it's a bum fit. and really bad buttons.

Love this as a great spring layer

I bought this on a whim, to serve in the grey area between Shacket and Flannel. I wanted a light, but warm layer to wear while walking to work or to the brewery. This fit the bill perfectly. It has the functional pockets of a jacket, including my favorite Napoleon Pocket (nearly a requirement on all my outerwear, more on this later) and the ease of wear and casualness of a button up. The Pertex outer shed some light spring rain and internal insulated material help fight off and cold and wind when temps were in the mid 40's; although I wouldn't push it far below that temp range. I find that it looks a bit hip, which is fine, but rest assured I won't hesitate to stuff it in its own pocket to demonstrate functionality and shoot that notion down. The only thing I would change is to incorporate some stitching on the liner to the outer shell (particularly upper arms and shoulders) to create more attachment points, which would make it a little easier to slip on. The fit is great for me (5'10 190lbs) in Large.

Awesome Button Up Jacket

5

Awesome jacket. Very versatile. Worked great in very light rain, wind and even snow. It is a very lightweight jacket, so not designed for very cold weather or snow, but it works in a pinch. Looks great, surprised how soft the material is, far exceeded my expectations. New favorite jacket and never travel without it. Packs into it's own pocket,(I prefer using a small packing cube). Perfect for long plane rides. Breathable. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this jacket. Got it in grey and receive many compliments on it's appearance. Looks far more expensive than it is. Excellent quality and don't leave home home without it. Highly recommend, you won't be disappointed. (I normally wear an XL, but did size up one size on this one and it was the right call.) All the pockets are also zippered which was also a big plus. Have had no issues with buttons or construction quality. Looks and feels great.

Great jacket!

I love the jacket great for everyday use. Super comfy and light. Only negative is I am a medium in everything but I had to get a large. I did buy and xl for my brother because I knew he would love it and he said the xl was in between for him but fit and he is normally a large.
