RATING AND REVIEWS

Exactly What I Was Looking For

5

I wanted jacket that would have just the right insulation for skiing at the sometimes cold and windy mountain resort here in the Tetons where I live, but not be too heavy. This fits the bill! Comfortable and lightweight. I love the saddle color and the fit. I'm 5'5", size 4-6 and I got a size small. Perfect even with base layers and mid-layers underneath!

Nice jacket, not for extreme weather

4

This jacket looks great and I love the helmet-compatible hood. It has lots of pockets, and the sleeves are a decent length (I sized up to a sm for this and was worried about super long ET arms) The only downside is that the armpit zippers do not appear to be totally waterproof, the call center reports they are strongly water-resistant, but I fear that in a torrential downpour, you would get very wet.

Great Hill Jacket

4

This jacket is a fantastic hill jacket for those days that you are looking to ride the lift. The jacket cuts wind and has many pockets to store electronics safely and keep them warm, goggle when they are not being worn, mitts and other things you may want with you on the slopes. I sized up by almost two sizes to allow for some roominess for packing on layers as the jacket is good in the cold but not the bitter cold. It also allows a casual roomy fit if you up a size. I am 5'5 and about 150lbs and I ordered a large.

Great purchase

5

This coat was a smart purchase. I got so sick of being cold while riding the lifts that I searched high and low for the perfect insulated ski jacket. After 3 decades of skiing, I know what I need in a ski jacket and this is it. This coat is lightweight yet wonderfully warm. Plenty of room in the neck/collar and hood for a helmet and lots of layers -- so you won't get choked when you zip up your coat (I hear lots of people complaining that the neck of their jacket isn't roomy enough and it is too constricting). Covers my always-freezing butt. Used it in some of the nastiest december weather and the jacket was bombproof in the whipping wind and wet snow. Easy to move in. I am 5'4" with a curvy build and a large chest. Got a large and it fit perfect.

WARM, comfortable, and breathable

5

I just wore this jacket for the first time on a FREEZING day (the morning was below zero farenheit). As a ski coach who runs really cold, I need a jacket that is durable and warm and I was so impressed by this jacket! It is really comfortable and I stayed warm all day! (I also used the Lucient heated mitts to stay warm). If you spend a lot of days on the hill, need a durable jacket, and want a warm, insulated jacket this is the jacket for you!

Best boarding jacket yet

5

I bought this jacket for the ski season, but I love it so much it's become my daily coat as well. It good in Seattle where it is starting to get a bit chilly and it is always wet.
