RATING AND REVIEWS

Great Tactical & Work Glove

5

Really like these gloves and will be buying another pair. I've worn them in various tactical environments on both coasts, during mountain training in CA, and then taken them out to work in the yard at home. Comfortable for all-day wear and hand protection, tough, breathable, good grip, and thin enough for a good feel to handle weapons and tools. Thick enough for cool mountain and desert weather, and can handle colder weather with a thin liner. Can get a bit warm and sweaty in hotter weather. Not waterproof, but this is not a negative critique, just a note for other buyers.

Best glove ever!!

Great Glove, I haven't used these in hot conditions yet, but for late fall and the start of winter they are respectfuly one of the best gloves I have purchased. I have used a lot of different gloves, In my line of work it's hard to find a glove that is cost efficient. A glove that works for the money you pay for them. This glove is wam even down to -8C and when wet they still are warmer then nothing. They dry fast and the fingers and palm are like a sticky pad. They grip everything. I have had mine for a couple months now, and I wear them every day, for every kinda use. Driving, shoveling snow and work. They have not let me down yet!

comfortable gloves

Great cool weather glove. Had hoped they would be perfect for cold weather bird hunts when paired with a light wool liner. They keep my hands warm with a light liner down into the upper 30's but in colder conditions, I need a warmer glove. They are very comfortable, provide good grip and minimally impact dexterity.

Best work glve on the market!

I just purchased these about a month ago and have worn them while splitting, chainsawing and staking about 6 full cords of wood. Not one rip, easy on and off. I've spent hundreds of dollars buying el cheapo boxstore gloves which don't hold up to the rigors of hard work. These warm weather gloves are by far the best I've used.

Great peace of kit. But don't expect it to last forever.

Lightweight, comfortable tactical glove

I was originally issued these gloves through the military as part of an Outdoor Research cold weather kit for Alaska. After wearing through the fingers, I've since bought two more pair. I've worn them in combat overseas, training and garrison environments over the last four years. They are flame resistant, breathable, and thin enough to handle tools and ammo yet thick enough to handle low double digit temperatures. Unfortunately the finger seams just can't withstand the rigors of military life and each pair has lasted 12-14 months. Still a great glove though the increasing price keeps me looking at other alternatives. I wish I could send OR my used gloves in exchange for a discount on the next pair.

Quality and Soft Leather

5

This is my second pair of Outdoor Research gloves. The Suppressor model are snug fit, with very soft leather right off the shelf. This pair are fire resistant so I did not add mink oil or any water proofer. An extra feature are the added loops on the palm side, they help you pull the gloves on and off. Now, use the Velcro straps to tighten the wrists and your ready to go. I use them and my Kevlar lined pair for law enforcement daily.
