I love the Arete gloves; I've worn out three pairs now, almost always at the fingertip seams. I've always bought the W' Large and been very happy with the fit - until the ones I just got. They feel a size smaller than they used to. I can't fit into the liner at all, and only barely into the outer shell. What happened?

I had to buy a size large because the mediums felt too small...and I am not a large person! 5'3''. But I do like more space in my gloves for warmth. On that subject of warmth, the inside liner is thinner than I thought it would be. That being said, these gloves are perfect for days above 20 degrees when you are exercising and keeping your body heat up. I have used them multiple times backcountry skiing and my hands feel warm. It is nice to be able to wear just the inner liners when you need more dexterity. Also, the gortex is a key feature.

I use these gloves primarily for skiing, backcountry and resort. Love that the liner can be worn on its own for ski touring to avoid overheating. Always warm, great gloves! LOVE that they don't have any leather on them, for the vegan population out there, these are the gloves for you! Found the fit was a bit snug.

I used them for the first time on a backcounty ski trip (low 11 deg) and they did really well! The liners stayed in nicely and the cuff allowed for ample coverage over the sleeves of my jacket.

These are by far the best gloves I have ever owned! I work in wildlife research, and these gloves keep me warm and DRY snowmobiling and hiking all day. I need dexterity to set up metal traps with tiny details, but I never have to take my gloves off to do my work. Beyond satisfied!!
