RATING AND REVIEWS

Versatile, well-fitting jacket!

5

This jacket performs well on and off-piste! I was comfortable temperature-wise wearing it on cold days in the backcountry, but I was also warm enough riding lifts in windy conditions. In addition, both the jacket and pants had a good variety of pockets for stashing my phone, pass, snacks, chapstick, and more, and the jacket has a built-in cord hole for headphones if you enjoy listening to music on the trails. It fits really well and I started wearing it around town/off the trails as well because it is so comfortable as well as wind and waterproof.

Bought a MEDIUM and a SMALL

Coat is too big. Look at waist area. Specs are not accurate. I sized on OR chart at MEDIUM but a SMALL fits perfectly.

Bought a MEDIUM and a SMALL

Here's a pic of the medium. I bought the brown in small, I'll post a pic of that soon. It's tough, I was looking for something to ski in - turn and twist a lot, I thought MED would be good but SMALL is just fine. Dimensions are off! I'm 5'1" 125 and had a kid (rib cage change) and Small is perfect! Don't listen to the Specs, a Small will fit! I purchased a North Face jacket in Medium as well think "that's the size I am now" but it's slightly off. I like the NF jacket. I'd say if you're a MED in NF then you're a SM here.

Bought a MEDIUM and SMALL

I purchased a MED based off OR description and reviews. I wore it skiing, arms are too long and stomach area was way too bulky. I thought it'd be okay since I was skiing/working-out in it. After a few days on the slopes I couldn't stand it any longer so I broke-down and purchased the SM. The arms ARE NOT the same length as the MED, contrary to OR description, they're 1" shorter, so the small fits perfectly and I can ski in it no problem, no restrictions, it's perfect. I'm annoyed because I'm stuck with the MED, will OR take it back/return?

I would buy again

Love this jacket! It fits nicely with a mid layer underneath but also as a stand alone. I was surprised at how warm it kept me in below zero temps (with a mid layer). I was happy with how moveable it was as well as how warm it was for its thinness. This is not your typical bulky snowboarding jacket yet it keeps you just as warm. I wish it had a powder skirt and the zipper can be a little temperamental sometimes but I would definitely buy it again!

It's an Awesome Jacket, good for snowshoeing, skiing.

5

I love this jacket, it's fits good but I can layer underneath it also. The zipper underarms are a big plus when snowshoeing. Looks good enough to go out on the town in it. Just make sure the bottom zipper is all the way dow or it won't zip up. But once it's up, you can also open the jacket from the bottom.

Great performance jacket

Love everything about this jacket --- so comfortable, breathable, warm yet has openings to release heat when needed, wind and water proof, numerous pockets for easy access and good security. Only negative is the zipping up and unzipping sometimes can be a little of a hassle if I am trying not to stop skiing, snowshoeing, etc but need to cool down or warm up quickly. I haven't mastered the hood interchangeable technology as well as the gal did on the promo video, but maybe with practice I can. Otherwise, its a great jacket for outdoor adventures!

I wore this while summiting Kilimanjaro and it did its job wonderfully.

Great ski jacket!

Best combination of light insulation and roominess to add other insulating layers underneath. Hood and pockets are well designed and powder/spray skirt is minimalist perfect -- not bulky and adding inches to your hips like many others. I am 5'6" 140lbs and the medium fits great.

great buy

I purchased this jacket as an all all purpose jacket for hiking, snow shoeing and everyday use. Before I ordered, I contacted support on sizing,. Was told that it's true to size. I'm a 5'2 woman and weigh 112#. Size small was recommended from the sizing chart. When I received it and put it on it felt restricting when I raised my arms up and out in front of me. Had to send it back and ordered a medium- which fits great. It's a little long in the sleeves, but I can live with that. I am very active and need enough room to move about. The medium is great for me. I like that I can wear a variety of lighter jackets under the shell depending on the temperature and wind or just wear the shell by itself. Very versitile. It is very expensive, but believe it's worth the price. It's a product that I hopefully won't have to replace for many years. I've had numerous complements on my "new" jacket, which confirms that it looks great from others perspectives as well as my own opinion.
