Not a good fit

I was t impressed

Denver co

They didn't fit well

The inseam was too long which made them uncomfortable

Perfect pants for Mt Shasta

Wore these pants up Mt Shasta, with a base layer pant underneath. I wouldn't have wanted to be in any other pant for that climb! Kept me dry and comfortable for the entire trip. One of my guides also had them. Awesome pants! For reference I am 5'5", 125 lbs, and wear a small.

Second time buying these pants!

Second pair of Cirque Pants! love these for cold backcountry ski days and even on wet days they seem to keep me dry enough. The fit is great. I love the thigh pocket for my phone and the side pockets for beacon or sunscreen. The bottom of the pants expand enough to fit over my two different style AT ski boots. Love the sturdy material, especially the added cordura (?) on the inside of my ankles. My only request would be to have thigh vents. These pants breathe well, but they can get hot and OR lacks a warmer softshell ski pants with thigh vents. (The trailbreakers are too cold from the knee down). Maybe another color would be nice too,, like a milk chocolate brown!

Good pants

Pants are quite big on the legs and bum. They fit fine around the waist. However, the material and feel of the pants is very nice and I like wearing them during the winter with another layer underneath.

Rock Solid Pants (Pun Intended)

I have been mountaineering for years and have struggled to find a great pair of pants until now! Several of my guy friends own these pants and adore them, so I decided to give them a shot. They kept me warm on a cold, winter ascent while also being breathable. The pants themselves are comfortable and have an adjustable waist, so I didn't need a belt (huge plus for me). I'm 5'9" with an athletic build and the medium fit great with a little bit of room. My only complaint is that they are quite baggy at the leg, almost like a ski pant. My guy friends' version of the pant look more slim fit than the women's version. Overall, I highly recommend these for any mountain enthusiast!

Too Long

I was really disappointed in this item as it was about 4" too long for my 5'3" frame. Otherwise, if you have long legs it is a great product. I'm 125lbs and got the size small which fit perfectly except for the length. I was planning on using it to ride my fat bike in the winter and for hiking that involves bushwacking.

Great in all ways except length

These pants are comfortable, stretchy, warm but not too warm, breathable, and durable. They worked well for glacier travel and bitter cold alpine starts on 6000m Mexican volcanos, keeping me comfortable from 2am through the heat f the day and providing good wind protection. I love the wide, adjustable waist and found the three pockets easily held quick-access snacks and cellphone. The fortified material at the ankle kept my crampons from puncturing the pants, and the hook at the front acted like a gaiter combined with my mountaineering boots. My one complaint is that the pants are about four inches too long and the extra material bags around the feet. They're far longer than all the other OR pants I own and don't seem to jive with the advertised 30" inseam. I am 5'4" 135lbs and I ordered the size small.

Excellent ice climbing pants

These are my first pair of "official" alpine pants and they do the job nicely. I've only used them once so far in the backcountry and they kept me dry, warm and comfortable. The material seems like it will hold up well with continued heavy use and it moves surprisingly well. Since they are just a shell, appropriate layering is crucial to making these pants work well. As far as sizing is concerned, I am 5'6" and 135 lbs. and a small fits perfectly. I initially bought a medium and they were way too big. The waist is adjustable if you are in between sizes but considering that these pants are already pretty heavy duty I'd go with the smallest practical size.

Great for Ice climbing, slim, breathable and quick drying.

These pants are terrific. I needed something that would protect me from the elements, was quick drying, and not bulky at all. These pants deliverer. I use these for ice climbing. These pants also have REAL and FUNCTIONAL pockets! They repel moisture but are not completely waterproof which is common with any softshell fabric, but when submersed in cold running water from a dripping ice climb they dry quick, keeping me warm and not freezing cold for the rest of the day. I would not use these pants for skiing since they don't have any insulation to speak of. I really like that they have a zipper up the leg and holes to attach a cord underneath your boot. I originally ordered the size small but had to return for an extra small. I am 5'2" 110lbs for reference. They fit great now except they are a little long, which is not a big deal since I always wear them with big bulky boots. Its unfortunate the sizing runs so big, I have many friends who are smaller than I am and would not be able to wear these at all.

Hi there! Interested in a pair of rain pants but want to make sure I order the right size. The size chart only gives information about measurements for numbered sizes (I.e. 2, 4, 6), but the pants I want to purchase are sized with letter (XS, S, M). How do those sizes correlate? Thanks!,

Sorry for the confusion here, Abbie! I'd go by the "Women's Apparel" size guide on this page:
