Don’t mess with a good thing—unless it’s to add thumb loops. The ever-popular Ferrosi Hooded Jacket just somehow got better. The same tough-but-breathable combo of Cordura on the shoulders and forearms and Ferrosi fabric on the body still block chills and light rain breezy alpine belays and somehow never get too hot. But now the new integrated thumb loops overlap to keep wind out when you’re not using them but help hold your sleeves in place when you are.

RATING AND REVIEWS

Buy this jacket!

I love this jacket! I own it in two colors, one of which I use for outdoor research, mountain biking, hiking, etc., and the other is a perfect outer layer for cooling summer/fall evenings (my "going out" ferrosi, if you will). I recommend this jacket to just about everyone because it's versatile, comfortable, and stylish.

Alaska cruise apparel

I bought this jacket for an Alaskan Cruise. It's a stylish and comfortable jacket that I'll wear on drizzly days and on shore excursions. I'm saving it for my cruise and in case I need it in Seattle for a few days pre and post cruise.

The All Around

This Jacket is seriously amazing. I gave away 2-3 other jackets when I got this one because it has fit so many of my needs. It usually doesn't even make it back to the closet because I'm always using it. It packs well, stands up to aggressive wear and has somehow kept me comfortable in a variety of temperatures. I'm pretty sure there is some kind of dark magic sewn in and I still don't care because I like it so much.

Great jacket

This is a great softshell jacket. It fits well, looks good as citywear, breathes great, is quite water resistant. It definitely does not qualify as ultralight, but is very versatile and it's hard to beat the (sale) price.

Jacket #2!

5

An earlier version of this jacket (?) was originally a gift for my daughter approximately 3 years ago. She wore it frequently for many different occasions and loved it....and proceeded to lose it. Now we are on jacket #2...one size bigger, and I foresee her wearing it well into college. Love its durability and the color. The cut is also super flattering. Highly recommend this jacket!

This is an amazing jacket!

I put this on for the first time on a four-day backcountry/backpacking trip, and left it on the whole time (even sleeping in it one cold night with the hood over my knit cap). It felt just right unless the weather warmed above about 70. We packed over a 12,200 foot pass with 40-MPH winds and this was the only layer I had over my t-shirt. My hiking partners were donning puffy jackets. The same held true on a 14,000 summit.

The jacket is great! I love how it fits, I love the stretch

I bought this jacket to wear under one of my rain jackets that condensates on the inside. It's perfect for that use. I also wore it golfing as a wind shield and in light drizzle and it was perfect and didn't get wet

I've had the male version of this jacket for five years now from when y'all supported the little guys. So bought it from wife, Who is outdoor the education director at The wood River middle school, and my mother, she kayaks every day on the Connecticut River. I enjoyed your professional sponsor for three years as a guide for Sun Valley Trekking. Your product is easily hands-down the best product for all around adventure and backcountry wear! Please return their sponsor it is very profitable for you because seven Valley tracking only serves people who can afford your product. And your product is on every shelf in the shops in Ketchum, ID. Plus Stio sucks!

Perfect Softshell Jacket

Perfect for snow. Keeps you dry so you can keep climbing without a hardshell. Breathes much better than a hardshell. Also impressively windproof.

Awesome jacket

This jacket is comfortable and the fabric seems really durable. It has stood up to a fair amount of bushwhacking already and is showing no signs of wear. A great warm weather outer layer or wind shell. Fits larger than expected.
