I am (still) looking for a casual, lightish top for spring and summer days where it's cool in the shade, or you want a little more weather protection for the bike ride in. I love the casual styling of the ferrosi metro, but was sad to find out that the large is too tight -- it rides up my hips when I walk, and I can really only comfortably fit a thin t-shirt under it. Disappointed that the blue doesn't come in XL, but tossing around the idea of getting the black one anyway.

Great casual windbreaker...

... but not the best technical piece. I'm happy with it for the sale price I paid for it, and it's super comfortable for spring day hikes and everyday wear. The fabric is stretchy, blocks most of the wind, and makes a gentle drizzle bead up. I love the wine color, and the jacket has cute styling that doesn't scream "I'd rather be backpacking" at my day job. In addition it's breathable and I can see myself using it as a sun-shade layer this summer for climbing and day hikes. The hoodie is durable so far, holding up like a champ to struggling through bushes and being pounced on by my cat. Overall it seems well made. It does a good job of filling the niche when a long-sleeve tshirt is too little, but adding a fleece is too warm. The downsides if you try to use this as a technical piece....The pockets gape on the side and don't securely hold anything bigger than a travel pack of tissues or a key. The hood will not fit over a helmet, and struggles to fit over my trucker cap. This women's version lacks the secure pocket on the men's version. The ribbing on the bottom makes it ride up under a climbing harness or if I do a lot of bending and stretching. It has no insulation whatsoever, which I don't mind but is something to consider as I've seen this put in the "softshell" category. I would recommend this as a summer and shoulder-season windbreaker, or for messing around on rock when pocket security isn't a concern. Ladies looking for a feature-rich jacket for more intense pursuits might want to look at some of OR's other great products.

I'm 5.6" 36-31-38, size M fits very well. It's my every day jacket biking to work in spring and fall. Perfect for travel and around the city, although pockets aren't very deep, so I have to remember not to put my phone in them, I dropped it twice :(

Great jacket! Super breathable, so good for outdoor activity. So far I wore it mtn biking and was completely comfortable. I have a long torso and this jacket did not ride up!

Nice jacket, but runs small

Overall this jacket is just what I wanted for biking to work or hiking on chilly mornings. I've also worn it backcountry skiing and found it to be very breathable. I usually wear a medium in OR gear, but lately I've noticed their tops tend to run small, so bought a large. I'm 5'8, 150 lbs and the bottom seam of the jacket fits very snugly around my hips, and tends to ride up when I'm active. Kept the jacket because the pro's outweigh the cons, but almost wish I would have ordered an XL.
