I bought my first pair two years ago and I will not wear any other hiking/climbing pants ever! Its a waste of my money to even find something better. I was getting really upset that even after losing 50 pounds, hiking pants still did not fit my waist and hip ratio. Everything was uncomfortable. I have inherited my Hispanic DNA rear end so the crotch/hip would be too tight or a huge gap at the back of the waist. These are the only ones that work perfect! Took these to Ecuador and hiked up in CAJA. Unbelievable water and wind resistance. Hiked in drizzle, everyone was wet but these pants shed the water! Also hardly felt the wind. After they dried, the dirt fell right off (do not rub or clean dirt off until dry) without staining. Was able to wear one pair for a week without washing!!! My husband says to find something cheaper but he likes how i look in them and he eventually lets up. I am 5'7" 157 pounds and wear a 10 but could also make an 8 work.

I love these pants for their breathability and comfort during long days in the field. I am 5メ5ヤ, 130 lbs, 29ヤ waist and 38ヤ hip and have a perfect fitting size 8 in these pants (33ヤ waist)! I ordered them in the spring of 2015 and have worn them consistently since. I recently ordered two new pairs of size 8s this past spring- both turned out too be much too large around the waist- measuring in at 34ヤ. I reached out to customer service who told me that size 8s should be a 33ヤ waist. I also asked around to a friend who has a size 8 pant that is a 35ヤ waist!! A customer service rep went above and beyond to try and find me a proper size 8 (33ヤ), but all he could find were 34ヤ and 35ヤ, so I ended up returning them. Based on the inconsistency in sizing, I donメt think Iメll be buying these again. But I still commend OR customer service for their patience and extra efforts.

Comments about Women's Ferrosi Pants:

Love these pants! For reference I'm 5', 100lbs, waist 25, hips 32, inseam 28.
Pros: stretchy material, wind proof, water resistant, quick drying, light weight but durable material
Cons: The fit is big all over, to long, to wide in waist and legs. (hemmed these myself and took off the drawcord cuff closures) Also, the back pockets need to be redesigned to not be sewn to the back of the fabric. Or maybe stitched with a more durable tread and double stitches. I do a lot of rock scrambling and down climbing in which I slide on my butt/back pockets. I realized that the stitches wore out after putting stuff in the pockets and they objects kept falling through my pants! That's why I gave it 4 stars.
Could improve on: petite sizes, adjustable buttons on inside (as stated with previous reviewer). Lower/sale price! I've had these pants for 3 years and it rarely goes on sale!

    Comments about Women's Ferrosi Pants:

The other reviews aren't lying....this is a terrifically comfortable pant. 5'3 115lbs size 2 fit fine. A little loose but not sloppy. The length was perfect. I've bushwhacked in them and was a bit worried but they were fine. I also hiked in 95 degrees and wouldn't recommend it for hot hiking day after day. It's not like they were "hot" as much as they felt heavy and when your are totally sweating and try to pull them up after going to the outdoor lady's room it just doesn't feel good. Other than that all other temps have been good. Cool early mornings do give the pant a cold feeling. I do wish this pant didn't have a draw string and maybe buttons on the inside of the pant to adjust to give them a sleeker look. I don't care for the flaring bottoms either but every time I where them, I always always get a compliment.

Comments about OR Women's Ferrosi Pants:

I finally found my perfect pant! I bought three pairs and couldn't be happier. This pant fits incredibly, is amazingly light but also durable, and has a simple elegant design. Great for climbing, hiking, field work, or just hanging out in. I am 135lbs/5'4'' and a size 6 is a bit too large in the waist. I will probably return for a size 4. The only thing that could make this pant better is if the length came in a "short" version.

      Great pant! Good work OR.

Comments about OR Women's Ferrosi Pants:

These are the best dern pants I've ever owned. They are comfortable, flattering, and dry quick. The only bummer is that after wearing the dickens out of my first pair for a year they got a bit piled, but a friend of mine told OR and they swapped hers out for a new pair.

This is a great quality pants which is lightweight and stretchy. Very comfortable for use in the tropics. The only complaint I have is that the waist comes a bit larger than the advertized size.

I have 3 pairs of these that I wear for work all summer. They have stood the test of rough conditions, incredible amounts of mud and dirt and general wear and tear. They dry fast and stay cool in heat and humidity.

Comments about OR Women's Ferrosi Pants:

From the minute I tried on these pants I've been in love! The are weightless and stretchy so you hardly feel them! I'm an environmental scientist so I wear them when I'm doing field work and they are perfect! they have a nice waist that is high enough for squatting and bending over yet not constricting. My only problem is on cool mornings they are a chilly, not very wind resistant. But otherwise amazing pants!
