I'd like to order another pair!

Love the length and feel of these shorts and I'm planning to buy another pair!

These are great shorts. I love the ferrosi line, and was looking for a shorter length than the usual that I get and these fit the bill perfectly. I would buy them in every colour.

These. Shorts. Are. Amazing.

I usually don't write reviews, but- These are so great. Admittedly I would rather wait to really give these a longer test run but so far they have exceeded my expectations. The fit is great, partially because they're so stretchy. The slim legs and inseam mean they don't ride up, and also look awesome on. But the best part is the pockets. Ladies, you know how hard it is to find decent pockets that actually hold things in too. These are super deep and have a high opening, so stuff doesn't fall out (front pocket fits my iPhone 7 with room to spare, back pocket it sticks out just a touch). The zipper pockets are also nice for extra security. Today I climbed in them with a harness, they took it like a champ. If I *had* to find something wrong, it's that the left zipper pocket jangles a little (bu that's minor). I usually wear a 6 in PrAna, I'm 5'6" and ~145 lbs and I wear an 8 in these shorts. I will wear these until they die, but I hope they last a very long time. When they do go, I hope OR still makes them so I can buy more.

Best shorts I've ever owned!

I work outside at a nature center. I love love these shorts! Stretchy, comfortable and very cute. I can wear these to work, hiking, camping, to the beer garden or any place else.

Poor Quality Control

I had 5 pairs of shorts purchased 2 years ago and recently lost weight and purchased two in every color in size 2 and 4. Not one pair fit the same. I received one pair of 2 that was the same size as my old 6. One 4 that was smaller than any of the 2s and one 2 where the legs were weirdly very tight on the thigh, though the waist fit. Overall they are just terrible and very frustrating. This is so disappointing and frustrating that there is zero control. So disappointed in OR. Clearly I need to find another brand that takes more pride in their product. I don't recommend unless you have the time and money to purchase multiples of each shorts or can try on in a store. Moving on from OR.

I love Ferrosi

I love the fabric of the Ferrosi line. It is extremely comfortable and great for fieldwork! Sizing can seem to run a little small. I usually wear a size 6, but I moved up to a size 8 in all of my Ferrosi pants. (5'2", 140lbs)

Great fabric and comfort, unreliable sizing

I discovered the Ferrosi line last year, and I wore these shorts for my entire season of fieldwork! I work long days hiking in heat, and need lots of flexibility in bottoms that I wear. This fabric was perfect - breathable, flexible and quick dry. I am 5メ5ヤ, 130 lbs, 29ヤ waist and 38ヤ hip. I have these shorts in two pairs of size 8s, which both have a waist measurement of 33ヤ and fit well. This spring, I ordered a new pair in size 8, which turned out to be much too large for me around the waist. I reached out to customer service regarding this size discrepancy with size 8. Let me just say- customer service was AWESOME! The guy I exchanged emails with went above and beyond helping me with questions and concerns. Ultimately, I learned from him that size 8 in these shorts should be a 33ヤ waist, but my most recent pair was a 34ヤ. I also have a friend with multiple pairs of size 8 shorts with waists that measure at 34ヤ, and size 6 shorts with waists of 31ヤ (when they should be 32ヤ). The variability of waist sizes leaves me guessing if sizes I buy will be the proper fit- so Iメm not sure I would buy these shorts again.

Nearly Perfect

I love almost everything about the Ferrosi line, and these shorts are my favorite. I do a lot of field work in hot weather, and these are perfect. They are lightweight and keep me cool, super stretchy and I love the little side pocket on the leg. I am 5"6' 135lbs, 38" hips and 27" waist. Some days I like the size 8, some days I like the 6. It probably depends on your preference, but the 6 can feel a little snug for me in the booty area, and on really hot days, that is definitely not what I am looking for. But with the 8 I always have to wear a belt because the waist is a little big. Also, while I appreciate the idea of the microfiber waistband on the inside, sometimes it gets bunched up and you have to dig around your waist to smooth it out.

Small, really small

These were meant to be hiking shorts but the picture does not show how truly short these shorts are. Can anyone say Daisy Duke? While I purchased a size 2, the size I usually have no problem with, these didn't even go over my knees. Sadly, while the material was perfect for hiking, these had to go back.

Love the feel

So comphy and dry quickly. I'm getting them in all the colors!
