RATING AND REVIEWS

Great Gloves... Not sure about the "sensor" part?

5

I have used the stormtrackers out around town, and also out hiking in old, windy conditions. I found them to be be comfortable. As a person with chronically cold hands, they did a good job of regulating my hand temperature while active, and kept my hands pretty comfortable. I'm looking forward to using them for ski touring. Only thing I'm confused about: I thought the "sensor" part meant they worked with smartphones? This does not seem to be the case (I don't really care about this, just an observation). Although my hands met the measurements for the medium, I found the MD's too tight around the base of the fingers and thought they'd limit my circulation. I sized up to the large and have found them to be perfect. They broke in and stretched just a bit, and have a perfect fit. Maybe I just have super muscle bound fingers?

Great dexterity for small hands

5

I have small child hands, and these gloves in size small fit snugly and still allow plenty of dexterity for temperatures down to 20F and a light wind. These gloves have enough sensitivity for me to comfortably handle carabiners and manage rope work while climbing. The touch screen compatibility worked as expected. It was nice not having to take off gloves to use my phone for photos or GPS. Highly recommended!

Discussions

Can you please tell me the temperature rating of the Women Stormtracker sensor gloves?

Priya

Temperature ratings are always subjective, but I think these gloves would perform well in the upper teens to upper 40s depending on your level of activity.

How to measure

Measure around a flat hand at the knuckles,do not include your thumb. Also measure your hand length from the base of your palm to the end of your middle finger. Use the larger of the two measurements to select your glove size.
