Jesse Mease is a farmboy born and raised on the plains of Kansas, and an ex-squid (Navy veteran) who somehow got lost in the mountains and hasn’t found his way home yet. He picked up climbing while on a three-day port visit in Hawaii and has been hooked since. Shortly after discovering climbing, he was sent on a three-year tour to Italy where he continued to pursue climbing along with a new language. Now that he’s out of the military and isn’t tied down, he spends most of his time avoiding work and climbing in Utah and surrounding areas while dreaming about summers in Asia or the next new experience.
