Renewable and easy to care for, merino wool is the type of wool that comes from the merino breed of sheep. Clothing made with merino wool shares the same characteristics that help merino sheep survive in extreme mountain environments: It's super lightweight, breathable, insulating and moisture wicking. The fibers are so fine and soft, merino wool is perfect for layers worn next to skin. In fact, it may seem like magic, but merino wool helps naturally regulate your body temperature, breathing when you need it to breathe and insulating when you need it to insulate.
