Austen grew up in the Pacific Northwest and has built a reputation as one of the most versatile snowboarders of his generation. Equally comfortable in the gnarly terrain at Mt. Baker or the wild setting of the next Natural Selection event, he rides with a contagious energy that stokes out his friends as much the people who watch him ride.

Over the past decade, he’s filmed a series of influential video segments, earning film awards and helping define the direction of modern snowboarding. Known for pushing progression with purpose, Austen continues to shape the sport through both his riding and commitment to snowboarding culture.
