Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society

Non-Profit Partner

Since 1963, the Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society (CPAWS) has been dedicated to protecting Canada's public land, freshwater, and ocean. Working in a way that respects the sovereignty and leadership of Indigenous nations, they're focused on conserving nature to respond to the dual crises of accelerated biodiversity loss and climate change, with an overall vision of permanently protecting half of Canada's land, freshwater, and ocean to sustain nature and people for current and future generations.

Why We Work Together

We’re proud to support the Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society (CPAWS) in their mission to protect 30% of Canada’s land and ocean by 2030.

CPAWS’ new interactive map showcases conservation campaigns happening across the country—from ancient forests to marine ecosystems to Indigenous-led initiatives. It’s a powerful tool to see where action is needed and how you can help.

“Our relationship with Outdoor Research has been brought about by our mutual desire to get people outside to see the beautiful natural spaces around them. We are grateful for their collaboration and continued support as we work towards a sustainable future for Canada’s precious natural landscapes, marine environments, and wildlife.”

- Sandra Schwartz, National Executive Director, CPAWS
