In 1981, our founder Ron Gregg built OR's first product, the X-Gaiter, because nothing else at the time could stand up to the abuse he put his equipment through. Since our beginning, we've focused on building durable, function-forward gear that stands up to the most extreme elements and the test of time. We still do, and our modern assortment of gaiters, from the ultralight specialist Swift Run Gaiter to the ultra-rugged Expedition Crocodile™ Gaiter, are purpose-built to protect from rain, snow, debris and terrain, no matter where you’re using them.

The information below shows you how to set up your new gaiters from day one. By following the instructions below, your new gaiters will last longer and perform better, keeping you and your gear protected from base camp to summit.
